This was our first stay at the Bocayna Village and we were really pleased with our choice. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The bungalow was very spacious with a large terrace and great views across to Fuerteventura. Although the kitchen / dining area had an air con unit, the bedrooms only had ceiling fans. Not a big issue but some nights were quite warm and air con would have been welcomed. Overall the room was fine with everything working as expected and it was clean and tidy however, a bit of a refresh would help to bring the look up to date. The pool was great with plenty of space and despite being mid July it never got overcrowded. We really enjoyed Playa Blanca and exploring the island and will definitely choose La Bocayna when we make a return visit.

Visited here on 13th July, and was greeted with a warm welcome by the manager with glass of champagne a very nice touch. The bungalow we stayed in had everything we needed including its own terrace garden and Jacuzzi with beautiful views of the sea, mountain and swimming pool, all spotless the bungalow is cleaned daily, a Credit to all staff nothing was too much trouble. As it was my birthday at the weekend we went out for the day and on our return there was a bottle of champagne and a card from the hotel staff which was a beautiful touch, Thank You. As for the complex everything is there for a relaxing stay and the meals are plentiful from breakfast, lunch, dinner a very good choice. Places to visit, take a walk to the marina which is 20 minutes walk along the coastline walkway, then a further 10 mins walk to playa blanca town, small beach close to town it gets busy, papagayo beach a hidden gem if you don't know about it, short walk from hotel over mountain, there is a dirt track to follow to get to it very relaxing sandy beach. All in all we will be returning to iberostar La Bocayna village Thank you for a Great Stay.

We have just spent the last 7days here and we had the best time. Food was very tasty and plenty of it. The staff were polite and couldn't do enough for you. The Bungalows very clean and well kept. The pool had a life gaurd and was kept clean. Would definitely visit again very soon.

Just returned from a lovely holiday here, where all the staff made us feel so welcome and nothing we asked for was too much trouble. The bungalows are spacious and very comfortable and gave us our own space within a minutes walking distance of the hotel facilities. The pool area is nicely laid out and never got crowded. The restaurant has vast selection of delicious food both at Breakfast and dinner so we ate there every day and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. A nice touch is they save your bottle of wine for the next evening so you don't feel you have to drink it all in one go! We spent a couple of evenings at the pool bar drinking cocktails after dinner which I recommend, one with a visiting Violinist which was entertaining. Location is just outside Playa Blanca and it's about half an hour walk along the sea front to get to the Rubicon marina which had some nice restaurants and upmarket shops. About another ten minutes and you are at the busier end with beaches and beach shops and a few more restaurants and bars but this end of town is more commercial. Reception helped us booked the South Tour trip up to Timafaya nation park which was a great day out and also the Sea Treck which my husband and daughter did. Closer to the hotel, there is a bus stop and small precinct of shops with a great little pizza restaurant 5 minutes walk from the hotel, and from there you can walk up and over the hill to Papagao beach which is beautiful. All in all this hotel is a peaceful and relaxing place to stay where you will be made to feel extremely welcome.

Having stayed a week here i can honestly say it is a great place to stay. The bungalows are lovely and spacious with your own terrace (we upgraded to the deluxe and got our own hot tub much enjoyed by teenage son) The food is excellent and varied with something to satisfy all tastes. Every member of staff we encountered have been warm and friendly and a credit to the hotel. Special mention to Natasha,Barbara and Karl at reception and Leahan at the beach bar but all staff are awesome. Especially nice was the lack of towels on the sun loungers around the pool as it helped with the stress free environment. The only very minor gripe i have was the lack of air conditioning in the bedrooms. There are overhead fans but they just move the hot air but as stated this is a minor issue. All in all have enjoyed every moment on holiday in Lanzarote and would definitely come back

Beautiful location , warm welcome from Karl with champagne . Huge bungalow, fab terrace . Swimming pool is excellent . Never to crowded and no rushing for sun beds . All of the staff say hello and are very friendly in the restaurant . Even the maids seem so happy . The food is excellent and the reception staff know so much to help you get the most out of it . Turn down service at night , daily maid service ,fresh linens every 3 days , such a peaceful , quiet location . We would love to come back .

A lovely place to stay. The bungalows are very big with 2 bathrooms and a terrace and a great size bed. The pool is lovely especially in the hot weather with sun beds and cushioned beds. We went down to the bar every evening and it was brilliant fun. Lahcen and hicham are brilliant. Constant flow of drinks and lahcen is great fun and his cocktails are amazing. Overall, all he staff were so friendly and helpful and we had a great time. We would recommend going all inclusive as even if you use the bar a couple of times it covers what you pay.

Having stayed here last year we could not consider going anywhere else. However having heard some people describe the area as a little quiet I would suggest you do some research before you book. Yes it is at the quieter end of the resort but that is why we booked it. That said it is a €3 taxi ride down to the Rubicon marina which reception will book for you, or €1.40 on the local bus outside the hotel into Playa Blanca itself. Both forms of transport are trustworthy and reliable. The hotel is a complex of bungalows with extremely large and private terraces on each. The bungalows are well equipped spacious and clean. There were just 2 of us but we had a bathroom each and a very genrously sized bed which was bigger than our king size at home. The food in the hotel is good with a good choice of fresh salads and hot and cold dishes. They also offer a choice of main courses which are freshly prepared and very tasty. Breakfast also caters for all tastes with fresh fruit, meats, pastries as well as scrambled egg and bacon available. As there are only 50 or so bungalows dining is a relaxed experience and it never feels crowded. In our 2 visits to this hotel we have found the staff friendly and professional. In fact neither my wife nor I would describe ourselves as memorable but as we were checking in Roberto from the restaurant was passing reception and made a point of coming in shaking my hand and saying welcome having remembered us from our previous visit. We should also mention Mohammed from the restaurant who was always smiling and willing to try and converse despite the obvious language barrier. Overall if you want quality accommodation and a quieter time on holiday like we do I do recommend La Bocayna.

Everything was very clean and tidy. I loved the atmosphere and a special thanks to Lahcen who was always very nice and always on point with his drinks and marcel for the impecible check in! A big thank you and hope to come back very soon.

I have just booked our return trip for this August cause we had the best time ever last summer. The hotel suited my family perfectly and we didn't want to leave. The staff and there kindness made our holiday extra special. We loved the food the bar and as this again is another reason we have decided to come back again very soon. We are counting down the days until we return.
