Short break in March, lovely quaint hotel, all inclusive, very friendly and extremely helpful staff, hoping to return again Sept, excellent value for money. Regular buses into Puerta Carmen for shopping. Located near airport approx 20 euros private taxi.
Firstly I'd like to apologise to the staff at the blue bay for some of the sometimes rude and negative views by some of the people on here. Talking to people here since we arrived on Thursday 22nd of March the average price paid for a week is £400 . Now I don't know what world these moaners come from but this hotel has lovely food morning day and night . The staff are the friendliest and politest ive encountered at any hotel ive stayed at over the years . The beer and spirits are fine the service is excellent . ok entertainment not Broadway standard but it's ok for an hour and kids love it . we are staying in block B overlooking pool sun all day . The rooms are huge the bed comfortable as any . The shower is amazing. and ok there are a few areas in need of some tlc. but my god it's not that bad . if the people who constantly moan about things are not happy .pay 2 grand and stay in a 5star plus . But dont complain about a hotel thats in my opinion one of the best for all the above reasons . keep up the good work bluebay you have mine and many others support. who will return 🥂😄
Where to start, I booked this holiday for my anniversary because I had received reasonable reports with this hotel what a mistake. First the good points, the staff and the bars were first class, the outside snack bar was quite good as well. The rooms seem to have had a recent but cheap makeover but because the were originally apartments you get a kitchen as well that’s the good bits now the not so good When will hotel entertainment manager come to realise people don’t want to see lizard shows or circus acts, Cuban dancers etc 2 good acts in a week is not good enough. Now the worst things. The outside infrastructure is dilapidated with chunks of concrete falling out exposing rusting rebar, the public walkways covered in white was flakes every morning due to the way this dilapidation is covered over. Now the food, apart from the breakfast the food was terrible with the cheapest cuts of meat possible even on the occasion they had carvery,s they ran out each time and no other meat ready which meant people got sick I standing like beggars in a queue an walked away. I realise there is pressure on the hotels to keep prices down but they should remember they need British tourism If this hotel does not have the worst food I’ve had in an all inclusive setting then it’s certainly in the bottom three.
Stayed here for 7 days, had a wonderful time, apartment was fine, cleaned every day, food was good and tasty but could of been hotter, There was a lot of noise from chairs scrapping on the tiled floor as they were moved in and out from tables. some pads on the bottoms wouldst go amiss. Found pool towels to be expensive 20 euros although you got 10 back when returned, there was a shop round the corner selling towels for between 3.99 - 9.99 euros. Staff were friendly and helpful.
I was very disappointed in this place, firstly they overbooked me and did not give me an apartment that i had paid for, so i had to share one of my friends apartment, the place is filthy and riddled with cockroaches, and the all inclusive food is awful....do not book to stay here, save your money or pay for something worth the money
We have just returned from a 5 day stay here and found it a lovely family hotel. On arrival staff were very happy and helpful and we were checked in quickly. Pool area was very nice. Although the pool is very cold. My son didn’t mind and jumped in anyway! Location was nice for us about a 10 min walk to the main town. Entertainment for us was hit and miss. But overall I thought it was fine. If you don’t want to listen to it there is a second bar away from it. We were happy with our room. Clean and spacious it had everything you need. We were lucky to have a great pool view. The breakfast was lovely. Lots of choice and coffee was really nice. Lunch and dinner were ok. We had 2 good nights and 2 not so good. Maybe it was us or just unlucky that day with what we picked. The staff in this hotel were absolutely brilliant. Always happy and smiling. Thank you for making our break away so lovely.
Just came back from a two week stay a couple of days ago. Accommodation - Comfortable room (ours was overlooking the pool) although some parts of the hotel are looking a bit shabby with paint flaking off etc. but some work going on when we were there to renovate the spa area. Maids came in every day and tidied bathroom, made beds, supplied fresh towels etc. When we wanted the sheets changing we stripped the beds and came back to everything freshly made. Food/Drink - Good selection both hot and cold although after the first week we got bored with the repeated options. Self service on wine, sangria, beer, soft drinks and hot drinks in the restaurant. Self service on hot drinks, soft drinks and beer at the pool bar with wine, sangria and spirits on request. Staff - Always friendly and polite. Facilities - Good provision of facilities however it cost us almost 50 euros for the safe for two weeks and we ended up paying extra for TV as this is limited to only world news in english. Entertainment - We found this to be a bit of a let down. Children's entertainment early evening but the main shows did not start until 10 pm which (for us) after a long day sightseeing etc. was a little too late. Entertainment staff worked hard to provide activities during the day such as rifle shooting, quizzes, pool etc. Out and about - Lots to see and do in the area with regular free buses into Costa Teguise. Holiday Reps available most days in the reception area for advise on what to see with plenty of leaflets etc. available. Weather - We were blessed with daytime temperatures between 19 and 25C and nighttime of between 14 and 18C. It was a little cool some evenings but a cardigan or light jacket was enough for this. Overall we had a lovely two week stay and plan to return either later this year or early next year.
Not a bad word to say about the place. The apartment is good, clean comfy. The view is good c309. The food has been very good so far. The staff are brilliant. Would definitely stop again. The best all inclusive I’ve stopped in for the value for money
My partner and i stayed here a few wks ago and had a lovely time! A few rainy mornings but it soon cleared up! The staff especially in the restaurant are v friendly and welcoming considering they do this several times a day and evening! The food was varied and tasty though we did eat out a couple of times! My partner is a keen football fan and we found a friendly sports bar five minutes from the hotel called monicas which was great! Taxis into the centre were only a few euros and the famous square was busy and had craft stalls which was v tempting! In all the price we paid was really good value for our holiday and we will no doubt return!
Been back 2 weeks and want to go again, Had a great time, dont listen to bad reviews as i couldnt fault this place. Plenty of sun beds, variety of food....desserts were to die for!! Apartment was spotless and beds so comfy. Was in AB206 so was very lucky as got free wi fi from reception. All staff were riendly and helpful. Pool was a bit cold but soon got used to it once your in. Beach within walking distance and so was the town of teguise with lots of shops and cafes.Looking at booking for september as it was a great holiday.
