My wife and I stayed here following a wedding reception. We found the hotel was beautiful with all the details throughout. They also did a fantastic job of hosting the wedding reception, the room, staff and all the food was everything one would expect. I would HIGHLY recommend staying here whether it's one night or for a full reception or gathering. I can't imagine you would be disappointed.
Very clean and well taken care of hotel with easy access to 469 and 69/96. Rooms are updated, good room service, quiet hotel. Many conferences here, pretty good catering services, decent bar and restaurant. I had breakfast in room, a good value and easy. Recommend.
Very nice and modern hotel. Convenient location not far from any attractions around Lansing. The staff is ultra friendly, and ready to take care of any needs you may have. The rooms are all modern and have everything you'd like to see.
We had a beautiful room on the 5th floor. Everything was perfect! We spent the evening in the bar watching basketball. The service there can not be topped. Then the Sunday morning Easter Brunch! WOW!!! The food, service and atmosphere far exceeded our expectations! The variety of foods and luscious desserts was beautifully displayed, well attended, and absolutely delicious.
The fitness room, cookie lady, and restaurant are all top notch. I traveled here alone but all of the staff made me feel as if I was there with friends. An extra special surprise was the cookie lady that travels from floor to floor delivering fresh from the oven cookies, so no matter how bad the day or meeting was she is there.
Amanda and Joe provide outstanding service. Never any issues at the bar or restaurant. Food price can be a a little high at times. Bar is open until midnight. They do not provide shots but theu do have good cocktails.
The room at the Crowne Plaza was clean and very comfortable. The staff was friendly and accommodating for all my needs. The breakfast was not included, but there was a pleasant buffet at the Grille attached to the hotel.
Whoever hired the wonderful cookie ladies who come to your room nightly was brilliant! Every evening we stayed at this hotel, one or two warm, friendly ladies would go around the floors with a cart and offer a variety of huge cookies to enjoy with a glass of milk and other treats to guests. The girls looked forward to finding her on the floor sometime between 7:30pm and 9pm. One evening it was earlier. This is a fabulous idea! We were here with a volleyball team during the President's Day weekend and all the parents agreed that this was one of the best places they have stayed at for a tournament. The hotel offered us a package that included breakfast and let me tell you that breakfast was well laid out with many healthy food choices to help start the day off right. There was plenty of food and even a special room they set up for us. The hotel itself was large and offered many area's for the parents to hang out. The kids were happy in the pool and also enjoyed the basketball court/gym to play in. The hotel was able to set up dinner for us one night in their restaurant and another spur of the moment dinner offering on our last night. The prices were quite reasonable. The rooms were quiet and there are three wings of rooms on each floor, so single guests weren't disturbed by any teams there. (there were several there) We appreciated that the rooms had an extra sink outside of the bathroom, it came in handy with two teenage girls. We also made use of the mini fridge and microwave in our room. If I could offer room for improvement it would be to change the beds to two queens instead of doubles and to put a fan in the bathroom. But overall, this was a wonderful hotel to stay in and if we come back, we will book here. Kudo's to the staff for making this a great stay. Well done.
We enjoyed our stay here because our room was clean, lovely, comfortable and nicely decorated. The bathroom was a cut above the usual hotel bathroom. It was also very quiet even though we were at the beginning of the hall, not far from the elevator. Our only complaint is the the noise level in the hotel’s dining room.
I've been to a few lunch meetings now in the Crowne Plaza banquet halls. They are pretty good sized and the servers have usually been fairly quick. The food is good most of the time that I've been there.
