Stuck with no options

No working phone in the room, no complementary breakfast, there was an additional charge for parking and room service was not an option. Along with what sounded like clanking pipes from the possible boiler or something all night. So it will be a hard pass for me for the next trip.

So busy that we could not use the elevators from the 7th floor. Broken elevator on top of two constantly full. Pool was out of order. Took dirty towels but never replaced them. No continental breakfast. Expensive coffee on site. Understaffed as well for the amount of guests. Unfortunately, instead of staying for the convenience to the convention center, I would rather stay at another hotel.

The hotel is not maintained. There were holes in the walls, and dehumidifiers hooked up to the ceiling throughout the lobby area. The staff were rude and unhelpful. When we requested the valet to retrieve our vehicle, it took him more than an hour. When we complained to the front desk . . . they told me it was not their problem! When I talked to the manager, he told me that it was not their problem. I will never stay in this hotel, or another Doubletree ever!

Clean hotel, which is my #1 requirement. It also had little things that added to the stay like a small foot prop in the corner of the shower. It also had the shower drain at the front of the shower so the wash water constantly flowed forward so you weren’t standing in it, and nice shower doors too!
