THE BED WAS FILTHY - THE STAFF WAS WONDERFUL AND THEY DID CHANGE THE SPOTTED SHEETS AND BEDSPREAD BUT THE SHEETS WERE SO OLD THEY FELT AS IF THEY HAD CRUMBS ON THEM - TERRIBLE CONDITIONS- SOMEONE DOWN THE WAY WAS FIGHTING SO LOUDLY I WAS AFRAID THERE WOULD BE PROBLEMS - I WOULD NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN - AND THE NAME SAYS AT MSU WHICH IS WHERE WE WERE GOING FOR GRADUATION - MSU OS OVER A 25 MINUTE RIDE AWAY - TERRIBLE AND WE HAD TWO ROOMS - SAME GOES FOR THE OTHER ROOM.
Having stayed at Double Tree by Hilton and Hyatt Regency Hotel. Red Roof ruined by vacation. Curtain was very dirty, I was sick to my stomach. There were bugs and dirty at corners. Not properly cleaned room. They had no room service until check out (July 2022) Not acceptable. My skin was inching when I checked out. Thanks
The facility itself was run down. I pulled into the parking lot and was afraid my vehicle was going to get stole. The bathroom door didn’t shut, the main door didn’t shut completely, my room wasn’t cleaned after the first night so I didn’t have fresh towels. It was run down, needs updating desperately.
Had someone use a key and open my room door at 5:00 AM. They’re having computer problems, guess it happens a lot. The place needs a good cleaning and updating. Old and dirty.

The price was right, but the old saying goes, "You get what you pay for." The bathroom light did not work, I had to leave the door open to be able to shower in the morning.

First of all the place is nowhere near MSU so that should be dropped from the tagline, it's very misleading. The staff was very considerate, but the place is old, moldy, linger smoke smells - old and new. Males residents like to stand out on the balcony, smoke, talk on cell phones and "do business". Smoking is allowed on balcony so it will seep into your room. Nice deal pricewise but I will pay double just to avoid the poor room quality and the people the place attracts.
Easy in and out close to ecerything. Would recommend it.

The room was dirty and smelly. We left and found another hotel.
At check in the guest service agent handed me a piece of paper to sign regarding no smoking, vehicle indemnification, and the charges. She did not tell me what was included with the room what room services were available or when check out was. When I got to the room it was clean however the safe in the room did not work, no power to the panel to input the code and lock the safe, the coffee maker leaked instead of making coffee, and the alarm clock was in functional. When I returned to the hotel after leaving at 7:00am for the day I came back to a room that was not replenished. The old towels were still in the bathroom and the bed was still unmade. When I questioned them about it in the morning the front desk said “the cleaning lady must have thought she heard you in the room or you had the do not disturb sign up.” Needless to say I left before the cleaning lady even got there and I never saw a do not disturb sign in or around the room. After staying at the same red roof inn four weeks prior to this and having none of these problems then, I was pretty disappointed.
Hotel was average. We will stay here again on our return trips.
