I was in the area on a two week business trip. Was staying at another hotel. Had a free night certificate that was expiring so checked in for a one night stay before leaving the next morning. Staff was great. Had a large two room suite with full kitchen. Room was clean and everthing was in good shape. I was pleasantly surprised when I checked in on a Wednesday that they offer dinner from a local restaurant alternating Wednesdays. This time it was BWW. Great wings, salad, and soft drinks. Perfect! Good breakfast in the morning. I would stay here again if in the area.

I stayed here for a month a few years ago and have stayed several days in the last month. As a platinum member I asked for and got a very nice upgrade to a 2 bedroom with fireplace. Loved it. My favorite store is Horrocks which is easy walking distance. They have all kinds of produce and loads of goodies. A definite go to place while staying here.

I was very impressed with the women in charge of breakfast. The hotel was obviously at capacity- filled with middle school age boys playing in a basketball tournament. It was standing toom only. The food vanished every fifteen minutes. The workers were not discouraged- they cheerfully cooked, served, and kept the area clean in a very efficient manner. The other employees in the hotel were also respectful and friendly. The 2 bedroom suite was spacious enough to act as a gathering place for our family of 8. Loved having a private bath in each bedroom. For sleeping, we also had a one bedroom king suite. The full kitchens in both rooms were excellent. Although the hotel is older and not as upscale as its sister on the East side of town- it was clean and inviting.

I stay here every summer. The staff is outstanding. The hotel has very good location places to eat that you can walk to. The rooms are updated and have everything you need for a long stay the hotel is so clean I was surprised when they told me they change sheets every two days the other hotels I stay at change only once a week. The breakfast and social hour is very good .

Nice spacious room. Hotel location was convenient to highways, retail shopping, and chain restaurants (could walk to BW3). Our room was facing some business/office buildings, so it was nice and quiet during the weekend stay. For a Residence Inn level of the Marriott chain, I expected a bit more for the breakfast offerings. They were at the base Marriott level, with fake scrambled eggs (that were cold), and canned fruit. And the offerings were the same for both Saturday and Sunday. Very good service, plenty of staff available to assist with a spill in the breakfast area and front desk staff that answered questions.

We stayed for several days in this hotel as we were in town for my daughter's wedding. It was very comfortable. Our room was a 1-bedroom suite. The living room had a spacious dedicated desk for computers, and the business traveler. My husband was working remotely on our trip, so he spent a whole day in the room on his computer, and found it quite comfortable. I needed to do laundry while I was there, and found the laundry room, though small, to be cheaper than a local laundromat. One can purchase laundry detergent and dryer sheets at the front desk for $1 each, enough for one load. It had a full kitchen, but we didn't use the kitchen, other than the refrigerator. Breakfast was provided every day, and one day, there were individually wrapped gluten free bagels on the breakfast. My daughter was elated because she can seldom find gluten free food, especially baked goods, when she travels. The hotel was close to the Mall of Lansing. The bridal party had their nails done there. Everything was pretty conveniently located. I heartily recommend this hotel.

The room was nice and spacious (and clean). The little touches made it memorable. After staying here I signed up for Marriott Rewards since I'll probably use this type of hotel as my preference moving forward.

I tend to stay in Marriott branded hotels when I travel for business, and this one did not disappoint. Clean, easy to get to, all the amenities of home. Was only here for one night, but easily could have stayed a week.

Super friendly desk staff, from the reservation phone call, to check in, to the next morning! Rooms and pool were clean, beds comfy and the free breakfast buffet was perfection!! We ordered delivery pizza from Cottage Inn- highly recommended also!

We had a two-bedroom suite. It had a fully stocked kitchen, two big bedrooms and a living room. There were tvs in all three rooms. The rooms were very clean, and the pullout couch wasn't half bad. It was very quiet. The courtyard was quite nice and we sat out there until it got dark. Lots of eating places nearby as well as a movie theatre a short driving distance away. If I ever have to stay in Lansing again, I will be checking ths place out first for availability. The complimentary breakfast was sufficient, too.
