Woman that works front desk is horrible. Likes to chat and hang out with friends in lobby or at front desk and makes you wait until she is done to help actual guests. Then gives you attitude like you are bothering her. Rooms are filthy. Room keys were reset EVERY day. Sometimes twice a day. And NO apologies from front desk. Just more attitude again like we caused the problem. I used to always stay here pre Covid for work. But NEVER again. Also I was arriving late and tried MANY times to call to let them know not to give my room away. AND even had orbitz try to contact them. All ignored. I showed up and they gave away my room AND didnt want to refund me. Seems like a scam. Stay Away!

If you enjoy sleeping on a terrible bed, this is the hotel for you. If you enjoy being rudely awoken by housekeeping when you've placed the do not disturb sign on our door, this is the hotel for you. If you prefer to be ignored upon check in by the front desk clerk while she feeds an infant child and socializes with a group of rowdy people, this is the hotel for you. If you enjoy random people passed out in the hallway near your room, this is most definitely the place to stay. If you like weird smells and trash in the hallway, guess what...this is your hotel. Do you like having your coffee pot explode and mildly burn you...yup, you guessed it...this is the place to experience mild pain. Unfortunately, these are not a few of my favorite things, and i will never stay here again. Additionally the manager "Mike" clearly didn't care at all about the exploding coffee pot, no apology was offered.

I have seen bad reviews of the place that made me worry. However, I was pleasantly surprised. Staff was attentive at check in. No trouble. Room was ready and clean (I had the King suite). No troubles during the stay. However, there are people that live here. Some seem sketchy. No breakfast was served (I knew going in based on reviews). No housekeeping during stay. Sometimes there was a strong odor of pot. The public hot tub has been broken since June 29th apparently. Worst of all and completely unacceptable, on check out day, I was harassed OVER AND OVER by housekeeping (again they don't clean your room during your stay). First, there was a knock at 9am. A call at 930am. Then, they ENTERED THE ROOM AT 10am. Apologies, but check out is 11am and I intend to stay every minute. Absolutely unacceptable. That said, overall a fine stay. Not as bad as some reviews go on about. It does have issues that should be addressed (the sketchy tenants, pot, etc.) I would imagine more people would stay if this wasn't a weekly motel.

Upon checking in I was informed that we were getting two wheelchair accessible rooms. I stated that I did not want that type of room. She replied "that's what you are getting." She said that Orbitz is the one that is to blame. I know that I did not choose this in February when I booked. Very disappointed

Overnight stay to break up a long drive. Bed was comfortable. Pillows a little small for a king size bed. Slight smell of cigarette smoke in lobby and room although no smoking is allowed.

I booked for the wrong day on Orbitz, fixed it at the front desk and paid for the room and then the Wingate refused to respond to any inquiries from my cc company or orbitz to allow for the credit. That is they tried to charge me twice and would not cooperate to get it fixed. Amazingly, they never answered any of the phone numbers on the web. The national Wyndham number put me into their customer service loop which is designed to make you quit and is staffed by folks speaking indecipherable English who were famously not helpful. If they can't answer the phone staying here is a bad idea.

Although we chose this motel with an average price, we got a substandard experience. A breakfast was advertised but not available. Nothing was clean & a lot of things needed repair. Peeling paint, worn out sheets, scary, but sweet, staff. Probably need to close this location.

I'm a local resident and my property was condemned due to a water leak. The issue took several days to repair

The building needs maintenance. The elevators sounds like is going to broke any moment. One customer was upset and the front lady did not want to give the phone number of the manager. The front lady with blue hair was very rude and loud.

I did not like that the place did not provide some sort of breakfast.

We saw several bugs in the room, the heat/AC did not work properly. Staff were very unprofessional. One day they were arguing with 2 guests in the lobby. The following day 3 staff members were loudly arguing in the lobby.

We stayed at the hotel 2 years ago when it was a DoubleTree. It has taken a nosedive since. Carpets are filthy. Walls peeling. AC extremely loud and barely working. Bathroom sink cracked. Bathtub faucet broken. No exhaust (not working) in the bathroom to vent out steam. Large amount of dust/dirt behind chairs, shelfs, etc; as if nothing has been moved to be cleaned in over a year.

Dawn at the front desk was awesome!! I would definitely stay here again!! The rooms were very clean and spacious!!

The first room our a/c did not work, they moved us to another room. The elevators made noises and were very slow this made us nervous to use them. The walls are very thing so we could hear people talking and kids running down the hallway after midnight

thank you for the info, now i will tell the truth. first of all you say we gave your room away then how did you stay ? you say the room key didnt work. that mean you stayed. all your other issues are not valid because you are saying all that just to add hot pepper on top of your main issue. what refund we didnt give , you stayed why do you get a refund. you sound like the scam to me. you story makes no sense.

gee thanks, here is another perfect example of what i keep saying. after covid people have become stressed, depressed, unruly, unhappy with themselves, unhappy with the world, and just need to vent on somebody. this guest is the perfect example. you hear about these people on airplanes all the time and in restaurants and stores. people were never this rude before covid. we just doing the best we can with what we have to work with. next time be a little more appreciative in life it will make you feel better. have a wonderful day.

hi friend, thanks for staying, glad to hear you enjoyed the stay, you did forget to mention how awesome of a rate you got with the super saver deal going on through the summer, we are doing that because we have reduced some services due to covid. we have extended stay guest here like traveling nurses, construction workers doing work in the area, doctors from out of town, ect.
