Enchanting and cozy hotel, with a phenomenal in-house restaurant.

Loved this hotel a lot. Very clean and looks amazing. It is a very cute and rustic hotel.

I don't know if I would recommend this hotel for someone staying in this area, only because of the price. Its not bad AT ALL, the room was nice and clean and new. But I really just don't understand the price. The rooms are small, and dark, and the view we had was of a parking lot and store.

Met our expectations in a charming setting with friendly and helpful staff. Having an excellent restaurant just downstairs made dining a great and convenient activity as well.

Housekeeping seemed very good, nice decor, great A.C. Conviniet and free parking.

just ok. not good or bad. gym was a little musty. I would most likely look for an alternative, next time.

it was a very good experience. the staff was very friendly.

The rooms are spacious and comfortable. My children (20, 24) remarked how comfortable the beds in their rooms were; I agreed. Love the atmosphere and artwork in this hotel-- the paintings, the brick walls, the wide-plank wood floors all add to the hotel's charm. This was our second stay at the Lancaster Arts Hotel; we stayed last year during the holidays. The staff is very pleasant and helpful. The continental breakfast offers enough variety to satisfy even picky eaters. Close to shopping and Lancaster attractions. We will stay here again!

Great hotel, friendly staff, beautiful room. Perfect for a weekend getaway. Only point where they can improve is the breakfast buffet. This is quite basic, and not in line with the overall feel of the hotel.

Great refurbishment of an old structure. The wood floor, brick, and wood floors really gave this place a wonderful ambience.

Fabulous weekend at the Lancaster Arts Hotel; extremely comfortable room, nicely appointed with calming decor, lovely bathroom, handy parking, beautiful artwork throughout. Even though our room was right above a bustling night spot, the sound was muffled to the point of white noise. The only things that I would have added to the room were a side table near an outlet (for coffeemaker and charging devices) and a second chair. The breakfast offerings were very nice with many choices, though the coffee was less than great (there's a lovely coffee shop in the building next door, though). I look forward to the opportunity to stay at the Lancaster Arts Hotel again.

Excellent, new and truly original hotel with 4 star level of comfort for the price of a inexpensive 3-star New York hotel. Wonderful place with an excellent restaurant, located very conveniently to see both Lancaster and Amish Country. And their artwork created by talented painters are all over the place!

After three stays here I can recommend this hotel. It is close to where my son lives which is why I chose it but the room comfort, friendly staff, and art theme really make the hotel special. We ate at the restaurant which was excellent. I can't wait to go back.

If you love art you will love this place. I stayed here one night and wished I could of stayed longer. My trip included walking to downtown and seeing all the amazing galleries as well as a show at a local club . I returned to my room at night and found my bed turned down with a red rose on it! Every person was absolutely wonderful. The bar staff were great. as well as the girls at the inspiration desk. The breakfast was amazing. I would reccomend this to any traveler although small kids i think would be bored....

I chose to stay here overnight while passing through Lancaster; I didn't have much time to adequately explore the surrounding shops and restaurants so I can't fairly assess how great the location is. It's probably a good 10+ miles away from the standard "Amish Experience" tourist traps, though, so if that's why you're heading to Lancaster you will be surprised to discover how much more there is to the area. I'm beginning to realize what an arts hub the city is. Kind of a nice "best of both worlds" location. The hotel itself is a renovated and repurposed tobacco warehouse; if you appreciate exposed brick and quirky windows, this place is awesome just to admire. There is a high-end restaurant in the building that I did not have time for; there is a YMCA across the street that again I did not have time for, but the hotel offers free access to their facility. I believe there is a pool there. There is a complimentary breakfast in the hotel that is the best I have ever had--the setting is peaceful and attractive, there is optional outdoor seating, and the food selections are awesome. I've never seen breakfast burritos and salsa offered anywhere else, and they were fabulous. Everyone I met was exceedingly nice and professional. The room was clean and attractive. Because the hotel is arts-themed, each room includes a sketchbook that guests can draw in and leave for future guests. I think they periodically remove some drawings and include them in a book in the lobby. Kind of a fun gimmick. For a single night stay, I felt my room was on the pricey side--but when I factor in the experience of sampling a unique hotel, enjoying a fabulous free breakfast, and learning how much more Lancaster has to offer beyond the Amish tourist sites, I still left with a smile.

Very comfortable room with a great bathroom setup. Wish we were staying for more than 1 night, but were only in town for a concert. Breakfast buffet had great choices and was really good. Enjoyed the quiet bar as well. Overall, great experience- very relaxing. Thanks.

Wonderful organic native grown food at the hotel and very nice room

We visited the central market, bird-in-hand market, and drove around looking at houses for sale.

Our bath had evidence it hadn't been cleaned. When notified, the staff immediately brought up keys for a new room. Restaurants and downtown Lancaster are a short walk away.

Facinating mix of modern and industrial. I enjoyed walking around and seeing all the Art. The Hotel room was very comfortable and staff was exceptionally efficient. The Bar in the Restaurant had a great Happy Hour. Overall an enjoyable stay.
