This was for our honeymoon, and our room was stunning! Loved the bathroom and balcony we had, and the gas fireplace. It was so comfortable! We were right across from the lake and had views of the lake. The location is perfect, a short walk from the center of town, and tons to do! Staff was very nice, we also loved the onsite complimentary shuttle.

The gym definitely needs some attention. One treadmill won’t turn on the other one pieces are falling off. We had maintenance guys in there one day trying to get the air conditioners turned on. There was one waited ball that was cut open but still sitting in the stand.

Great location, amazing staff, and super dog friendly! As a guest you get passes to access the private beach across the street which was super convenient not only because we walked out our patio door on to the beach but because literally all of the other beaches in the area were packed with full parking lots. The hotel provides a free shuttle (also dog friendly) to anywhere downtown. We had a gas fire pit on our patio and they provided smore kits for our daughter. We will definitely be staying here again!

I was looking for a hotel in the area that was dog friendly and this hotel came recommended. The property itself is really nice and the staff was really friendly. They are very dog friendly which was great and even gave my pup some toys upon arrival. My room was having a plumbing issue when I arrived but they gave me a spare room for us to get ready in until our room was ready. This was really above and beyond. However, when we did get to our assigned room the plumbing issue was still there - the sink water came out milky white... For a luxury resort and spa the room was only ok. I paid more for the garden view which had a balcony but only one chair for 2 guests so we couldn't even enjoy the balcony. Every other balcony seemed to have 2 chairs so I don't know why ours only had one. The heated bathroom floors & toilet seat cover were a nice touch though in the bathroom. The property is right on the lake. There are a few nice seating areas around the property which is nice. They also offer a free shuttle into town (it's a 15 minute walk if you don't want to wait for the shuttle). The one big negative - and it's not the hotel's fault - they are right down the street from a concert arena which blasted loud music until 11pm each night and it literally sounded like it was right outside our front door. If noise bothers you don't stay here. While it's a nice hotel I think it's overpriced for what you get and there are better options.
