Our first night was a disaster-people above us stomping, walking around at 1:30 AM! Called front desk and after they contacted them, they started to fill the bathtub!!! Very loud. But the property did move us to another room the next night which was heaven. Very much appreciated.

Had the misfortune of staying in block no 4. No lift so carrying 2 suitcases was not easy up 2 flights of stairs.. Wheelchair users would find it impossible and difficult for those with young familles. Room itself looked like it had its last update in the 80s. Bad smell, No ac, no iron and no fridge plus light not working. A double bed the size of that a hobbit would struggle to sleep on. Now for the noise!! Woken at 5 am by what I assumed was a herd of elephants above and which was continuous for 3 hours. Hardly surprising through the paper thin walls and zero sound proofing from above. Very poor quality room and seriously over priced at £263 for 1 night. Look elsewhere for better value in my opinion.. if the hotel does read this, please go and stay for a night in the room you gave me and comment if you think it’s worth £263. If not be kind enough to refund.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was very busy and crowded. The room we stayed in was comfortable, but dated and had no elevator, although staff helped with luggage. We missed the heat spell, so the lack of air conditioning was okay. it might have helped to make a reservation at the restaurants.

The Inn feels like it needs an upgrade. The rooms in the main lodge were ok but dated. Very heavy doors. The 9 hole mini putt is just pieces of wood. Buffet breakfast was expensive but good.
