The room was dirty. The mattresses were old and sagging. The fan in the bathrooms were loud and could be heard from one room to another. The website did not show that the rooms were in different buildings. There was a pool and hot tub in the main building, but you had to go outside to get into the building to access it.

Staff were friendly and we enjoyed our stay, but it was VERY overpriced. For over £500 per night you'd expect a luxury stay, but our 2-bedroom suite lacked some kitchen utensils, the doors didn't close properly, there was a flickering lightbulb, black mould between the bathroom tiles, and the TVs were basic, offering only terrestrial TV and no smart functions at all. No discount was offered when I mentioned these issues to the front desk. We felt a bit cheated when we realised we could have stayed at the luxury Fairmont Hotel for much less. The best part of our stay was our meals in the Legends restaurant, both breakfast and dinner. Warm service and delicious food.

The room is a bit dated but clean, and the beds are comfortable. Our room was conveniently located near the main building, just a short walk to get food. The Thanksgiving dinner set was good, and breakfast offered plenty of choices.

Clean room, one staff member was very inviting and helpful the rest seemed they didn’t like their job. Walls are VERY thin. My husband has a natural strong voice and we got a compliant that he was to loud. It was literally just us talking about our day. Taller man at the dinner downstairs was very attentive and great!

We went for a weekend with our two granddaughters. The staff is super friendly, helpful, and professional. Location-wise, it is perfect for visiting the surroundings, including Lake Louise. There are many options, including public transportation (just across the hotel). Many local hikes that start from the hotel, too (we hiked up to Lake Louise and came back with the bus). On day 2, we did the Pipestone Trail (a wilder, less busy path, with lakes). The restaurants: Good food. Great breakfast (buffet or à la carte). Again, great service. The kids (and we) loved the s'mores around the fire at night, accompanied by calm and live music. Our only recommendation: it could have a better choice of tea bags in the rooms...:-)
