We enjoyed the stay because it was quiet and in a beautiful area. KJK

Friendly staff.

There were some bugs and we expected 2beds and were given a studio with sofa bed, very uncomfortable. It was very small area and felt it was very expensive. It is in a secluded area just fyi.

Cabins are located midway between Lake Louise and Banff in Banff national park. They are very convenient for hikes in any direction. The cabins are well designed and the property is very clean.

Beautiful cabins fully equipped and very nice staff. It doesn’t have any restaurants nearby so if you need that make sure you bring some food. They do have a little general store with snacks, drinks (incl adult bevs). I was pleasantly surprised with how nice it was for the price! Enjoyed hiking around the area.

The property is in amazing location with mountains all around. The cabin was nice and clean. I would recommend bringing your own food as the selection and quality of what's offered on site was very disappointing and expensive. Sadly we ended up throwing all of it away.

The location is good. However the facility is more primitive than I thought. I'm kind of deceit by the photo. The actual chalet is pretty small

The location roughly halfway between Banff and Lake Louise was nice. The property was more "rustic" (aka: showing it's age) than I expected. In addition, our room wasn't very clean when we checked in, and there was a mouse in our cabin.

The cabins are beautiful and well kept. They are located between Lake Louise and Banff. Pricey but worth it if you can afford it. I would definitely go back.

This is the 2d stay at Castle Mountain and the accommodations were excellent. The only reason I cannot give a better rating is due to th constant train horn you hear each time the train crosses Highway 93 which in back of the cabins. The repeated horns all through the night is very disturbing. Otherwise, the cabin (1 bedroom) was spacious and quite comfortable. Everything is provided, included firewood, kindling and matches for th fireplace which you can also watch from bed. The kitchen had all that is needed to prepare meals and there are communal grills as well. There is also a fire pit. While there are no restaurants or cafes on premises, same we’re not missed. Pets are welcomes and our dog (border collie) was very at home. As compared to Baker Creek cabins down the road, these cabins are much more spacious, better appointed, cheaper, The property is directly across from castle Mountain and it is easy to get to Lake Louise, Banff and all activities. But for the train we enjoyed our stay. Whether we would return is not a definite due to interrupted sleep.

Several of the cabins are located across the street from major train crossing and right next to a somewhat busy road - the train horn blares from 12:30 a.m. throughout the night, and the cabins shake from the trains passing. While this place has terrific potential, you will not be able to get a good night's sleep. And given the hefty price tag, I was expecting a much better experience - what a disappointment. Don't waste your money.

Perfect location for hikers, and for anyone wanting easy access to both Banff and Lake Louise areas.

Charming room but miniature stall shower. Very close to train tracks so kind of noisy

Thank you very much for taking the time to leave a review, although I do believe there are some discrepancies that should be addressed. While it is correct to say that you were provided a studio with sofa bed and not a two bedroom it would be accurate to note that you did indeed book one of our Cedar Cabins and not a 2 Bedroom Cabin and what was booked by your party is what was provided to you by our property. It would also be right to acknowledge that we did offer to move your party to a 2 Bedroom Cabin for a 50 upgrade fee, to which you declined. You have mentioned in your review that "there were some bugs" however both our housekeeping team and our 3rd Party Pest Control team have not been able to locate any upon our inspections. Reviews, whether they be positive or negative can have a large impact on a business and I would implore you moving forward to attempt to review a business with the upmost accuracy as to not mislead potential clients with false information.
