Nice choice in Kyoto

Nice location near Jujo station conveniently a couple of stops before the subway gets crowded. Reasonably close to main attractions/areas. Friendly service and excellent breakfast. Only thing I would improve is on the room's temperature matching the hallway's/hotel. It was always warmer than the hallway or actually a bit hot during the day due to the sun.

It’s 7-10 min walk from 2 stations, which was convenient for us. It’s in a quiet neighborhood which was great, staff was kind and helpful. I love how they had a water dispenser on our floor. There’s also a 7-11 and a Family Mart close by too. Scenic views as you’re walking around, will definitely come again.

Easily the best hotel experience I had while in Japan. The staff were incredibly helpful, I love the fact that the room came with a tea kettle. Location was easily accessible to the subway. Amenities were top notch. The breakfast spread was excellent.

Our friends told us it was going to be too far away from central Kyoto, but honestly it was surprising when it took less than 15 minutes to get to every place we wanted to go by bike! The area was so quiet and really clean. The hotel staff honestly was so nice! There was an option for eco friendly cleaning too for the rooms. Overall, we cannot wait to get back to Kyoto and stay at The Reign again! 100/10 for everything.

Nice. But when you book a room including a child apparently young kids don’t need bed sheets for the bed until they are 6 years old, or you have to pay extra upon arrival. Very strange.

The hotel was clean. The roof top patio is so nice to sit and rest. The hotel is farther from the metro then we would have liked, but for the price it was worth it. Fushimi Inari is walkable from the hotel. Everything in the area closes around 8pm other then the konbinis.
