The staff were extremely kind and helpful, assisting us with calling restaurants to make advance reservations and arranging taxi bookings. The hotel rooms were very clean, and by Japanese standards, the room size was quite spacious. The location is also very convenient—quiet yet close to the action. Highly recommended!

The hotel offers a room with 4 beds which is the main reason why I chose to stay. Cleanliness and hotel staff are good. Amenities nothing to shout about. Location wise, I found it quite far from the places we planned to go. Me and family spent 30mins walking back to hotel everyday.

Apartment room is ver roomy for the four of us. Love the double toilets, double vanity and kitchenette. Hotel is 20 to 40 minute bus ride to all major attractions or a taxi ride away. Laundry room is useful as well. There are restaurants and convenience stores within 10 minute walk.

It was fine, the area was OK. The only thing we ever walked to from the hotel was a supermarket which was a six minute walk away and family Mart, which was a little bit closer but otherwise we pretty much took Uber everywhere.

A great place for families in Kyoto

A wonderful hotel in a quiet neighbourhood in Kyoto. Super family friendly and very well set up. Great to rent items like a rice cooker or iron, and to have the laundry room in the building. Staff were really friendly and helped us numerous times. Would highly recommend!

Super big rooms compared to every other hotel we’ve stayed in Japan. Had sofas and a dining table too! Reception staff so friendly and helpful. Sending bags was a breeze too! Their system is very slick compared to other hotels. Highly recommended especially if you’re with a family!

Solid stay. Our family of 4 had a room with 2 beds and then more of a ryokan style mat on the floor for the 2 kids. They were doubtful at first, but loved them after the first night and said they were comfortable. There is decent closet space and floor space, which tends to be a rarity in Japan. We liked the options for free rental like an Apple TV, a rice maker, and games. Pajamas are available in the lobby. Be aware that the nearest train station is a 10-12 minute walk away.

We stayed in the Pokemon room and my 9 year old loved it. He didn’t even want to leave the room. Even my 2 year old was all over snorlax. The room was clean, big and really good for family traveling with kids.
