The Celestine Kyoto was a dream property. From the staff, to the facilities, to the room, to the location... everything was great.
Loved everything about this hotel. Arrived a couple hours before check-in time, and the front desk staff went over and above to help us with questions and planning for our day. In fact, all of the stuff that we encountered during our stay were top notch. The hotel is quite new, and both the room and the common areas were stunning. The room was very cleverly designed to maximize space, and was appointed with high end bedding and other items. At the end of our stay, we took the free hotel shuttle to Kyoto station to catch our train.
