This hotel was very nice! They have all the toiletries you would want, the room size is decent for Japan. They have laundry room in the hotel. The staff are super friendly. It was raining when we were there, they offer umbrellas too. The location is 10 min walk to high end malls and markets. I’d love to stay here again!

Amazing staff and room! Very close to the station and there was so much shopping 6-15 minutes away. The temple is only a 15 minute walk! Highly recommend. And they have laundry available which is so helpful while travelling! Loved this room.

The staff were great, really friendly at check in. Being able to access the amenities you need is really nice as a guest, especially the drop coffee. The hotel is in a good location for Kyoto - you can walk to many places or access train stations easily. The room was a good size but felt a little dated. Unfortunately, despite staying four nights, we had no room cleaning. This was a surprise, as everything said it would happen after the third night.

The rooms were clean and the serives they provided were really good. Never had a hotel offer me a choice in what pillow I wanted to use. Would stay here again for sure.

good location. good breakfast. Electricity in the room was off in the absence of keycard, so fridge, charging and AC did not work when not it. I understand the reasoning, but I found it not the best solution. Cold water was more like luke warm in the shower. But overall, good hotel, great experience. I had a good sleep there.

Everything about our stay was perfect — the staff, both at reception and in housekeeping, were exceptional. The cleanliness of the room was excellent. Downstairs, the hotel provided thoughtful extras like toothbrushes, toothpaste, razors, and sachets of shampoo, conditioner, face wash, and even hair oil. We were able to borrow umbrellas on rainy days and appreciated the option to leave our luggage after check-out. It really is a beautiful and well-run hotel. But (and there’s always a but!), the room we were given (Room 717) faced directly into another building — so that was our “view” for five days. The building was so close that we couldn’t even see what the weather was like outside. Unfortunately, this wasn’t mentioned in the room description or visible in the booking photos. That said, we were out exploring most of the time, so it wasn’t a major issue. I just would have appreciated knowing in advance — it would’ve avoided the surprise. And like I said, I really couldn’t fault the hotel otherwise and didn’t want to make a fuss and let this one thing spoil an otherwise lovely stay.

My star rating speaks for itself. The one thing I would suggest is to have a power outlet placed by the bed head at a higher position so guests can charge their phone overnight while having it close by for any urgent messages. Thanks

Good value for the price, a stone's throw from Exit 5 of Shijo Station, all essentials are also nearby ( lawsons, family mart, 7-11, drug store, anytime fitness ), as well as some good restaurants. Walking distance to the shopping streets. But there is a strange cigarette smell inside the hotel ( strange because i never saw anyone smoking inside or outside the hotel ), but other than that, really no complaints.

The hotel was situated very close to a train station and other amenities, such as cafes and convenience stores. The hotel staff were extremely attentive and approachable. The hotel offered many amenities, such as extra toiletries, hair brushes, tooth brushes and tea bags. The communal areas were extremely clean and tidy. The room layout was well designed and didn't feel cramped despite being a small room, and included many helpful amenities such as TV apps like Netflix, a hair dryer, makeup mirror and bath toiletries. The only area for improvement was that the decor of the room was a little tired and had marks on the walls, which could be improved with repapering or fresh paint.
