Hotel was alright, usual Accor Hotel standards. However, as a Gold Card Member and after experiencing the hospitality in other Hotels (Bangkok, Hongkong etc.), I must say there was little to no hospitality or even any form of welcome from the reception staff. This is definitely disappointing. However, I must mention that the concierge and housekeeping staff were very friendly and helpful in bringing us mineral water and the rooms are always clean. As such, it was a fine stay but could do better in being more welcoming.
We have been there for three nights with friends, but we felt really great in staying at NOVOTEL, the reception staff specially "MS KUSUMAWATI & MS MS PAVITRA" were very helpful in guiding us, overall stay was super comfortable. The service of SPA was also very awesome, the hotel is very good for family stay also. The best thing about this hotel is that it is centrally located and near by all shopping destinations. WISH TO STAY THERE AGAIN.............THANKS TO TEAM NOVOTEL KUALA LUMPUR
I am pleasantly pleased to say the rooms are better cleaned and the floor staff are helpful and although the hotel is a little dated the location is great for shopping , food and visiting The towels in the room need changing as they seen better days :( I went to buy new towels ) However I m happy to find the rooms cleaner than previously experienced I chose to stay again as the location is good
Hotel Novotel Kuala Lumpur City Center is right in the heart of the action. It is in close proximity with most of KL's tourist attractions. Our stay was a fulfilling vacation, thanks to your professional care. We arrived in late afternoon, but our check-in process was quite swift. We stayed in an Executive Room (2701) in the Premier Floors that had a sweeping view of KL Tower and Petronas Twin Towers. Our room was upkeep daily by the very courteous chambermaid. We also have access to the Executive Lounge in the 28th floor. The place ambiance is always cozy. Food are always fresh and well presented. And the staff.... they deserve recognition and praises for their expertise. Mr. Feroz, Miss Rekah and Mr. Denish (I hope I spelled your names correctly) deserved all worthy praises. Thank you for your care and keep up the good work. I will not miss to acclaim and thank the Concierge team for their helpful advise and recommendation. They arranged for us a day tour in Malacca. The "Square" is as usual a stand-out. The spread had always been adequate with assortment of healthy choices. We spent our previous vacations in Hong Kong and Bangkok with Novotel Hotel and contentedly speaking, it never failed to impress us.
Very good location as it is right in the centre of town. The staff for very attentive and the food good. However, the hotel does need some work as the rooms are rather tired. Perhaps some work on the rooms would be good.
hotel location is very good because every where is on your hand. the room is good. the breakfast service is very good. the food and breads were very good . the more of staff were very very frindly (for example Mr. UGARAG) .
I am a regular customet and am very glad tobstay at Novotel.Foryears I have been staying there .The location is as you know is near of Pavilion Bukit Bintang the aquarium KLCC Ampang. The hotelnstaff is very warm
Great location just across from The Pavilion and a short walk away from the KLCC. There is an escalator and walkway just across from the hotel that leads directly into The Pavilion with all its great bars, restaurants and shopping. The same walkway also leads to the KLCC, but walking along the street is actually faster. The room was reasonably comfortable but all the furniture is a bit dated and needs to be replaced. The bathroom was fine but had a bathtub/shower combination rather than a shower stall. The aircon worked reasonably well which was not the case with the room of my colleague during our 4 days stay (room 1218).The aircon in the buffet breakfast room "The Square" was broken and was very warm, so we had to find a table right next to the lobby entrance which was air-conditioned. The buffet breakfast had a limited selection of everything compared to some buffet breakfasts we have seen in other Novotel hotels.
Stayed at Room 2701 between the 26th - 29th August, being a premium level, we would have expected a bit more than an unkempt balcony window full of weeds outside. The shower is absolutely pathetic, plastic shower curtain across the bathtub, with a hand held shower hose. The Room is in a time wrap, this place is so outdated and tired. It's in need of an urgent upgrade of everything, from furnishings to painting, to tidying up the weeds outside the window. This clearly shows a lack of pride and attention to how the hotel is maintained. The plus side to all this is the friendly staff, who tried their best especially in the lounge area, namely Feroz and Dinesh. Both staffs are a credit to your hotel, their services, impeccable and professional. Services in the lounge area, we can't fault, there was an instant where we met chef Savannah, who takes the trouble to check with us about the food in the lounge. Great job chef,we think the maintenance and housekeeping areas can learn a thing or two from you !!!! Sorry to say that we will not be staying at the Novotel KL until it's renovated and refurbished, this is despite the fact that we are Accor members.
Great location although could do with a freshen up. Easy walk to Bukit Bintang. If you fan get a reasonable price its worth upgrading to the executive level. Views to twin towers from some rooms and breakfast and evening snacks and drinks in the lounge. A good choice if your want easy access to Bukit Bintang
