Trip to coast and stayed there on the way. Staff were friendly but room run down , not very clean. Had a coffee maker in room but no coffee. Poor breakfast. Was okay, but for $10.00 more had a beautiful hotel on the way back.
our room was supposed to have queen beds and had single beds. The hotel is old, dirty and had no shower curtain. The bathroom faucet was in such poor shape that is just sprayed all over the place. Place was so bad we left after 5 min and went to another hotel. When we called and spoke to Wyndam rewards, they spoke with the manager who could not have cared less about the poor state of the hotel. And would not reimburse us or do anything to make it up. Avoid this place! Not worth spending your hard earned money here!
We have stayed several times at this location and it seems always clean and quiet. All of the staff are friendly and breakfast is tasty!! Beds are super comfy!!
My grandchildren and I were looking for an inexpensive place to stay for 1 night prior to going up to Sun Peaks for a couple of nights. Because there were 3 of us we preferred a 2 bedroom. The first room we looked at was a little small for our needs but we were given a 2 bedroom suite w/ applicances for only $10 more. Thanks to the manager. We enjoyed our stay.
The list goes on and on and on. Luckily we just spent one night. The place had such a bad smell it literally is still with us after a night two showers. It is haunting! Bathroom was filthy, dust everywhere, sheets were dirty with some sort of stains and long hair. Bath towels were dirty with stains. Shower was either way too hot or way too cold - 10 minutes just to find the right spot. Manager DID switch us rooms... but the second room was worse! I knew the hotel was by the main Hwy so I can't complain about the noise too much (but I'm letting you be aware...). I've looked at a few reviews and they all say the same thing. Manager... when you reply your same generic "I am absolutely apologetic..." mumbo-jumbo you have done with all the other bad reviews... actually live by your words. We will never return to this establishment.
I stayed here when passing through Kamloops. I arrived late and left early the next morning. The room was warm, everything was there and the bed comfortable. It's not a fancy stay but I didn't need that. Want luxury stay somewhere else.
Place isn't flashy or anything like that but bed was good, room warm (winter) and quiet not a lot of ppl was there, breakfast so, so but for price pair it's a steal, what to ask for.... if you get used to 5star hotels then move on but to sleep a night after long trip at reasonable rate yhis place is perfect. Solid 5 star.
Extremely good value. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful.
I stayed in Kamloops for one night when I was driving through. Super 8 seemed like a decent choice. The room was not the cleanest and since it's not a giant hotel I don't know why they can't manage to keep it clean. However my main issue was the working light fixture in the shower stall. They did have a special light fixture made for water in the stall area which is on the far left of my picture. The other light fixture, which can be seen on the right in my picture is the one that is dangerous. It was very old and looked like it belonged in a vintage bedroom. It certainly was NOT safe to be in a wet shower stall and on top of it , the light fixture still worked. Why didn't they cap it off when they installed the other light? I was really concerned about this and reported it to Super 8 when I followed up to see if it had been fixed they gave a vague answer and tried to offer me a free stay. I didn't want the free stay I just wanted to make sure no one would be electrocuted by this light !
I am in bed in my hotel room right now typing this. It is after 1 a.m. and there is a white pick up with a plow on it, trying to smash the ice under the awning at the front office. I actually got out of bed and went outside to see what the racket is. He is dropping his blade as hard as he can, then is revving back ward to scrape it... repeat. Also: two trains have gone by, highway traffic - you can hear every single car that goes by. Next. Dried urine splots on the toilet seat and dust and hair behind the toilet seat, on the porcelain. The rest of the toilet is very clean, I guess they over looked that. The price seemed good but now I can see why it was 'only' $73. It's not worth it.
