The hotel was in a great location to the majority of Kamloops. It is directly beside the hockey arena. The only bad part is the trains that go by very regularly. I would recommend not getting a room on the town facing side. Trains go right by the hotel on that side. Kept waking us up all through the night. But the hotel and the facilities are great!! Would I stay here again. No, unfortunately. I like my sleep!

Hotel was new and the bed was comfy. The hotel was also next to train tracks. The trains went by many times during the night and shook the hotel. The bathroom was small and there was a dirty washcloth left in the shower and the toilet lid was dirty.

I spent 4 nights in your lovely hotel. The bed was so incredibly comfortable. Your staff, all your staff, we welcoming and friendly. Every staff member gave me a smile when I walked pass them! I liked the security feature on the elevator too!

We had to stop for the night and the hotel was exactly as described and reviewed.

I had a beautiful modern 2 room suite in neutral tones with a huge spa tub and very high ceilings. It was the perfect antidote to a long day of driving. The staff were all incredibly nice and accommodating. In fact, every human being I spoke to in the city was exceptionally nice. One note. It is near a historic part of town near train track which the design fully embraces and folds into the experience. The train provides a bit of a rumble like free "magic fingers". There is a pair of ear plugs and a sound machine on the bed stand . I didn't need them. I would love to visit again.

The location of the hotel seemed ideal. What I didn't realize was that the Rocky Mountaineer came through six days a week, depositing a load of tourists every afternoon, who would then leave at 6 the next morning. This made the hotel quite busy in the afternoon and very loud in the morning as doors slammed and luggage was arranged. In addition, the staff treated even longer-term guests such as myself as in-transit, and the cleaning staff and service was sub-par. I am sure they were overworked, but that is no excuse.

Would stay here again. However I sleep with ear plugs and there was definitely a presence of the train going by regularly. Good restaurants, patios and water park, back, live music in the summer across street.

Great location, beachfront, close to downtown, Moxies room service.

Very handy to the Sandman Centre and Riverside Park which is very nice as well!

Our room was 100m away from the busiest cargo rail line in the province. Didn't expect that! Despite the complimentary ear plugs and white noise machine (red flag?) they should be more clear about the noise issues on that side of the building. Don't book a city view room! Aside from the non-stop train noise tha facilities are great and staff are top notch. The room was comfortable and room service was prompt Lot's of places in Kamloops at this price point without the noise.

Thank you so much for your wonderful review! I do apologize about the trains. Next time you stay with us, we would be more than happy to book you on the park side. Thank you again and stay safe!
