Knights Inn Kamloops2.0 out of 5.0

This place is terrible. No elevator. Rooms are dirty. The blanket has stains. The kitchenettes are old and dirty, I wouldn’t use it. Chewing tobacco stuck Mt he bathroom wall (easily cleanable, they just didn’t). Spend $5 more anywhere else.
For the price, this place is just awesome. I stayed here for the first time and my experience was excellent. Front desk person - very polite, newly renovated large rooms, they literally upgraded us to a balcony room for free! Good breakfast and the view was breathtaking! Will come back again.
Why to pay high to live in fancy hotels! This place is perfect to stay and in budget. I always check reviews before booking a place to stay and Knights Inn was having mixed reviews, so I decided to give it a try. Beautiful – one word describes this place itself. Friendly management, rooms were big and clean, microwave, fridge, LED TVs, and good breakfast. Front desk person helped us in taking the luggage to our room. For sure, I will be back whenever I am in Kamloops.
I stopped in Kamloops while on a road trip to split up the drive from Edmonton to Vancouver Island and I found the Knights Inn while in Kamloops a few hours before checking in. I was skeptical because the price was VERY reasonable and it did not have that many stars on trip advisor, but a friend who lives in Kamloops told me that it was a great hotel and it was by all means perfect. The room was immaculately clean and very spacious with all the essentials! Comfortable beds, mini-fridge, microwave, and even a stove top! Along with a great TV and FANTASTIC Wifi. The staff was also extremely polite and welcoming which greatly reassured me as I was checking in. If I am ever I Kamloops I will stay here again no questions asked.
This is my first stay at Knights Inn. I didn't want to spend a lot of money for one night stay in Kamloops. I didn't have much expectation about this pet friendly place. BUT what a nice room they have!! The flooring and the washroom are beautifully done and clean. The beds are good. A newish workable desk, lamps and furniture are great surprise. This location is quiet and very close to the malls, Superstore and nice restaurants. I will stay here again if I happen to stay in Kamloops again. Why pay more to stay at other hotels when you can get pretty much same room quality and service for much less. I am truly impressed!!
Hotel staff was really friendly, helped me in taking my luggage to the room, what a view - they upgraded my room for free, breakfast was good enough to keep you full till afternoon. Cleanliness was the main factor that I will come back and stay, rooms were large with LED TVs and beds were comfortable. I will come back for this really cheap price but with all the great amenities.
The original room I booked was beautiful but apparently housekeeping missed a memo so it looked like somebody just left--TV still on, bed unmade, furniture moved around, used towels everywhere. They had to fit us into a room with two queens instead of the king I originally booked, and it was a total dump. Beds were rock hard, coffee maker smelled like something died in it, holes in the curtains, stained counters with holes in them... It was so bad it actually got to the point where it was funny! Especially when we felt a little off-balance after a few minutes and thought we were going crazy until we looked at the doorway.... and noticed that the entire floor was on a major slant. If you're travelling and have allergies, it's worth noting that we were placed in a non-pet-friendly room despite the fact we had our dog with us. If you're travelling with pets or small children, it's worth noting that on the south side of the parking lot there is a concrete stairwell with no railing that is unmarked. My dog ran over the side of the barrier and fell almost 10 feet to land on cement. It's mostly his pride that's bruised, but a toddler could easily be seriously injured/killed by this hazard. You can actually view the stairwell in the photo of the facillity on their website.
This is the best deal in Kamloops , I got a really good price for this hotel, in this price they have a clean and big size room .Staff are really helpful.I request for a kitchenette room then I got that room with same prices.
