The breakfast was in a bag. I was not impressed by that because the other Travel Lodge by Wyndham in Airdrie Alberta, was incredible. So I had a higher expectation; they had a full-on buffet breakfast style that would cook your pancakes right on the spot. I just feel let down because this place was not like the other. My room smelled of cigarette smoke. tiles were broken. and the wind draft from the window would lift the ceiling tiles in the bathroom, which made me think someone was trying to get in. The shops were great and convenient. There's a restaurant called REBO'S Argentine Cuisine. You must go to that restaurant.

Dated but making upgrades!

Truthfully, better than expected! In town for a super busy sporting event. Staff was friendly and prompt with any requests. Efforts are being made to update the property. Fresh paint, new flooring and updated tub surround in the room helped it feel tidy. Pool area is a separate building, handy for a noisy crowd. Shower water pressure was one step down from a fire hose- no sad trickle there! Location was quieter than expected as well, and also had food options within a few blocks. Cons; room door had gaps that allowed daylight, no additional deadbolt made it feel a little less secure than one might love. Some fixtures were ill fitting and worn. Fridge temperature knob was broken off and apparently set to -100000 degrees. RIP bag of mini cucumbers. Breakfast offering is a grab and go bag. Nothing special but this probably isn't where you're looking to be, if Special is the goal. For a couple of nights of basic shower and a bed, it was just fine.
