We stayed here for one night on route from Jasper to Vancouver. Alas we initially went to the Sandman Signature Hotel so that may have affected our rating. This hotel is adequate, room is ok but it's all a bit old, tired and underwhelming. They don't offer food but a branch of Denny's is next door open 24/7.

Stayed here on the way back to Edmonton from the island. The suite was nothing special. It was clean and the bed was comfy. I guess that's all a person needs. There's a Denny's on site but we opted to stop later.

Love the suite. Well equipped neat and clean. Excellent price. Denny's on site that overs good food at good price. The young man at reception was not the most helpful that I have met but the rest more than made up for him

We arrived here mid afternoon for 3 nights and had to contend with a hotel with no elevator. Steep steps to lobby, then we had to carry our luggage up to the 3rd floor! Definitely not suitable for guests with mobility problems! Rooms were simple and clean.

Only stayed here for one night as it was a stopover to break up my drive back home to Calgary from Vancouver. Pretty much a mid-range clean hotel as I've stayed in the queen suite. In a fairly central location near the city centre in Kamloops and right on Columbia Street which is easy to get on and off from Highway 1. For a place to eat there's a Denny's right on the property which is perfect after and before a long drive. Nothing much else to say or share for my one night stay.

I booked online and when I got there I had to email my reservation to him them then the front desk clerk told me they had no rooms available and that Expedia and other online places don't know what rooms they have available so he took 10 mins to check. There was 1 room and he gave it to us. We got into our room and the hallways carpets were filthy and room carpets were just as bad. Bathroom was dirty as well. The back of the door looks like it's never been wiped down and it had pink silly string on it and the wall. Paint as well were coming off in big chunks. Not happy with our stay. Told the front desk clerk in the morning and didn't seem to be very concerned. Nothing. At least the beds looked clean.

First things first the rooms were clean and the housekeepers were very friendly and helpful, even helping with my suit case. But I don't think the front desk person who works there likes the job, we were there for emergency medical reasons and were very confused and I guess asked to many questions. I didn't get a lot of help... Dropped our stuff and headed to hospital to see husband, got back to room late evening. Making light conversation and Apologizing to them for getting in late. NOT a word just a grunt . Ok "good night"not a peep. By two am people were yelling and fighting out back of my room. I phoned front desk got "yea I've been told that already" ,,,,, OK by 3:30am I was hoping to sleep but no here they go again, no need to phone front desk he " already knows". Not looking for hugs just a little politeness would have been nice. Left next day to another hotel... Did get "sick" rate but it was cheaper down the road....

My husband and I arrived here very tired yesterday so when we saw the huge line up, (to the door from the front Dest )I turned grumpy, there was a lady Angie or Angela not sure of the name that was doing her best to keep up but there were lots of people waiting to check in and looking unhappy. Then out of the back came this amazing lady (I don't know her name and she was not in a uniform, maybe management?) she took control had at least 6 check in's started within minutes and with her smiling face and positive and happy attitude turned people that looked grumpy happy including myself and my husband. I want to say thank you for tuning what could have been a bad experience into a great one! Thank you mystery woman and sandman Inn... You Rock!!!

Our room was cleaned and feature a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, coffee cups , etc. The view of the park was great. Very nice short stay. Close walk to many choices of restaurants. After riding the train all day it feels good to stretch one's legs with a brisk walk.

Good hotel for the value with discount we had. One hiccup as we had asked for non-smoking room and they accidentally put us in a smoking room, but we were moved with no fuss. There I'd also a Denny's steps from the hotel, which is great!
