Completely discussing they should be ashamed of themselves. Rooms dirty. Blood on sheets, Loaded with bed bugs. They know all about them and do nothing. Purposely rips off families. Sleeping in your car would be better. Stay away.
If you have a tight budget this place can do as it was affordable. But dont expect real fancy. Its basic and we Didn't like that our non-smoking room faintly smelled like old smoke. The swimming pool was freezing although there is a hot tub. And continental breakfast did come with our room but was mostly all carbs, choice of eggo waffles, bran muffin, cereal or toast and your choice of tea, coffee or juice with it. The staff was friendly and the room ok. EASY TO FIND
As a stopover on our journey from Whistler Eastwards this motel proved to be quite adequate. Located besides Trans-Canada 1 near restaurants and fuel the motel was quiet, clean and comfortable with easy access to the room.
Reserved this motel for an overnight on a longer trip. The reception staff were friendly, but after that things went downhill. The place is very dated and cramped. The room might have been large enough if the TV console / dresser weren't oversized and the bathroom had been oriented across the back of the room rather than crowd in a sitting area next to it which, again, had furniture too big for the space. The sheets were clean, and the bed was comfortable enough. The bathroom was mostly clean, but there was mildewed grout in the tub / shower. The water was just hot enough for a shower, and there was only one tiny bar of soap to serve both sink and shower. There were signs of deferred maintenance everywhere. Skip this one and spend just a little more to be happy.
Reasonably priced room for 69.00 plus tax. My room had two double beds. It was clean and spacious. Air conditioner worked but only one setting. There is reasonable pool that is covered and hot tub. Light basic breakfast although some fruit. If traveling on budget good choice as right close to highway but not noisy...at least not for me. Small microwave and also kitchen table and chairs. Small fridge. Check in was pleasant.
Initial impression was tidy but rundown. Looking closer, there was brown smudge stains on the towels and bath mat, as well as black hairs. The beds were quite stiff and they had a very loud waterproof sheet underneath. The air conditioner wasn't powerful enough to cool the room. We had been tenting for the past 5 nights and after staying in this hotel preferred our tent.
AUGUST 23, 2017 Let me start with the fact that I have NEVER written a review before; however I feel compelled to do so with this poor excuse for legal robbery: This is by far the worst PLACE to stay! VERY RUDE AND ARGUMENTATIVE FRONT STAFF. There is obviously no caring or understanding of what customer service "looks or feels like". The young Front Counter Service (could care less) Provider needs many, many counselling sessions just to learn the fundamentals in human interaction. Rooms are very seedy looking and just feels dirty. We understand "you get what you pay for" but, the should be some benchmark for 'expected standards' for the cost of staying here. As I noticed from another unsatisfied customer review from 2 weeks ago, now we have to worry about BEDBUGS!?! ..we will be sleeping in our OWN blankets tonight😧 THE ONLY TIP WE WILL BE LEAVING IN THE MORNING ARE CUSTOMER SERVICE WORKSHOP LOCATINS/DATES/TIMES IN THE KAMLOOPS AREA BUT, FIRST YOU HAVE GOT TO WANT TO CHANGE.
I am an experienced traveler. My goodness where do I start. This is one of the grossest hotels I've ever stayed in. I paid over $190 for one night in what amounted to a mould infested broken down - needing repair room. I would have moved on however my elderly mother recommended the hotel so I didn't want to hurt her feelings. Regardless I felt like I needed a body condom in order to feel comfortable in the room. From dirty sheets being put on the outdoor chairs while they changed to rooms to broken doors, fridges, air conditioners, lamp shades, window coverings etc.. this place is gross and a rip off. The problem, the owners appear to be trying to run the hotel on a shoestring budget to maximize their profit. I may be wrong but I did t see much in the way of staff. Everything needs repair and cleaning. From the tiles in the bathroom not being clean to gross droppings around the toilet it is scary. Do yourself a favour. Don't stay here
As soon as we walked in my wife spotted the bedbug soiled sheets. I did a search for "best budget bedbugs", and sure enough, a previous guest had wrote a review about room 117, which was the room we were given! You can't make this stuff up! I went to the manager, told him I saw the sheets and showed him the website. He starts ARGUING with me that that was from a different year...! I don't care! I tell him. He says "I don't care either"! Great attitude pal! Got a refund. Steer clear, folks!
Walked into the lobby and smelled very clean. Expressed an issue we had at another hotel about the cleanliness and front desk took us to a room and went through it with us before even charging us for the room. Happy with the level of service. The pool and hot tub clised at 10pm but the gentleman at the front desk said that he would leave it open unil 1130 so that we were able to relax and cool off after a long day of travel. Very happy, and toast and juice included for breakfast
