We checked in late, the check in was quick. Our room was very clean, the bed was really comfortable. It was pretty quiet as well. We only heard one person in the hall during our stay which is unusual. The lady from housekeeping was pleasant and friendly when we waited for the elevator. Quick check out in the morning. It was a nice and restful stay. Would definitely recommend this hotel. We have no complaints
The AC and heating system are not working. Day time it's hot but no AC, in the evening it's cold but heating not working. The front desk lady said in summer not need heating, so they turned off, not damaged. The sofa is broken, they refused to change, but price keep high. From manager to workers are all same kind people, so cheap. They know how to save but they don't know service.
The room was clean and well appointed. Obviously, there has been a renovation and new furniture installed. However, a number of nuisances exist. The bathroom light switch is inconveniently located by the room's door and behind the bathroom door. This means you have to close the bathroom door to turn the light on in the bathroom. The light switch for the ceiling fixture closest to the closet is all the way across the room from the closet. This means that you have to walk across the room to turn on the light allowing you to see into the closet. Again very inconvenient. The wash basin and sink top are too large for the bathroom, forcing you to squeeze into the room whenever you need the toilet. The towel hooks are also placed at too low a height. Also, ventilation in both the bathroom and the room in general was very poor. All said, the staff were great, especially waiter Claudio in the Citrus restaurant. Lisa, the Manager, was helpful at every turn. She was gracious and accommodated us well under very trying circumstances.
Everything was well prepared and managed. We loved to have breakfast there.
The hotel was centrally located and the service was great. I was visiting kamloops on my way to calgary and was pleased with my room and the service the hotel provided
For being in the core of downtown Kamloops, this hotel is very quiet and clean. Easy access to pretty much any neighbourhood and close to food downtown if you don't drive. The only downside is the size of the parking lot. There is a side lot you can park in next to the liquor store, but there is not a lot of parking immediately out front of the hotel. We have almost always gotten a spot, but it is usually a concern when we show up.
Spent 3 nights in this fresh new hotel. Comfy beds, great bathroom and really good breakfast. Good friendly service. A pleasant stay. Only one complaint. They haven't registered the new name so our GPS couldn't find it.
