The house was just as presented! Very clean and comfortable! Meghan was so accommodating and went out of her way to make our stay extra special. A great place to stay with indoor pool, hot tub, ping pong table etc!

Beautiful spring break

We absolutely loved this property! We had a big family with kids and a toddler, and this house was perfectly equipped with everything we needed. Highly recommend this beautiful estate for your next vacation.

Everything about our experience at The Island Estate was perfect. This home had beautiful decor, plenty of room for everyone for meals and for relaxing, well-stocked kitchen with many extra amenities, comfortable clean bedrooms and baths, and fantastic outdoor spaces, including a great pool and hot tub, and a massive dock area where we enjoyed the spectacular views of both sunrise and sunset, as well as dolphins and ships cruising past. We even witnessed a sea turtle swim up to the dock supports. Our host, Maghen, was wonderful. We entered and saw huge Welcome basket and precious personalized sign, and felt immediately at home. She told us about all of the outdoor accessories for our use and where to find them in the house. She also offered great tips on local restaurants, beaches, activities, groceries and delivery services. This home met, then quickly surpassed, our expectations. We would love to stay here again.

A great getaway

The house was immaculate. We spent most of the time out by the pool playing games and watching ships go by. It was very entertaining. The kitchen is a cook's kitchen. We did a few outings to Amelia Island which is not far away. We would definitely stay there again. Thank you Meghan!

Monday Night Football Trip

Beautiful luxurious home

Highly recommend this luxurious house with every amenity you and your family could need. Conveniently located and private enough for a peaceful getaway. My family and I are definitely planning to return to this paradise in Jacksonville. Owners communicated well and are very hospitable. Check in was a breeze. A can’t miss stay!

Amazing home!

The home was immaculate, the sleeping rooms very nicely furnished and comfortable, the game room was an added plus! You can’t beat the location on the River. Kids were fishing off the dock in their pajamas at sunrise. The pool and hot tub added hours of fun and relaxation.

River house

The house worked well for our family which included several generations. The enclosed pool was great, it allowed us to be outside without the insects. We encountered several maintenance issues with the house while there. The response from the owner was very fast and the issues were quickly taken care of. We had a good week.

Amazing time!

This property was the perfect family house! The host was so responsive and helpful with recommendations on things to do. I also loved that the property had everything you would need for your stay including sunblock, detergent, dish sponge, paper towels, etc. But our absolute favorite part was watching the dolphins and boats everyday off the dock. The view was incredible!!! We would definitely stay again!

Spectacular Home & Host

We had an adult family reunion at The Island Estate and had an amazing time! Agree with many other reviews that the pictures do not fully capture how beautiful, spacious, clean, and well-equipped this home is for a visit. Maghen coordinated everything wonderfully, including all the information needed for a safe and comfortable stay as well as stocking us with snacks! We highly recommend The Island Estate and look forward to returning soon!

Best host ever!

Our family has been renting homes all over the country for every occasion, business and pleasure. For the last decade we have rented homes instead of staying in hotels. This is one of the best homes we've stayed in and the host is by far the best host ever! From the welcome goodies to the entire home, they are the best. Amazing spot for a Fantastic Family Reunion

Meghan’s place is like a private 5 star resort! Everything is new and sparking clean! Meghan is extremely attentive and available for any questions that may arise. Everything you need to have a fun vacation is on the property. The screened in pool area was where we spent most of our time as we were traveling with a 10 month old. We will definitely be back!

Fantastic waterfront spring break

Maghen is a warm, kind and welcoming host who goes out of her way to make her guests comfortable. The home is exactly as pictured and Maghen even provides fishing and crabbing gear and pool toys so that you can enjoy all that this lovely house and property has to offer. We had a wonderful much needed family gathering at this beautiful property for my youngest autistic grandson's spring break and birthday celebration. The house and property couldn't have been more perfect, and the communication and consideration of the guest needs from the amazing host Maghen was over and above anything we have experienced at a VRBO property before! Starting with the birthday sign and treats left by Maghen, to the spotless clean house, the extremely comfortable beds to the wonderful outside spaces and the dock. The game room and home gym were used for playing and watching movies, the dock was where you could find my oldest 23-year-old grandson enjoying the nice fishing rods and bait provided by the house along with some great pool lounges and toys. The hammocks were extremely popular on the dock, and the kitchen was used to prepare most meals as we had about everything we needed there. I would be remiss if I did not talk about the sunsets and dolphin watching off the dock in the evenings. We were lucky enough to be there as a family to watch the Artemis lift off from the top of the dock followed by the full pink moon and hundreds of dolphins the last evening we were there. We saw dolphins every night, but the size of the pods under the full moon was breathtaking. Many wonderful experiences and memories were made at this beautiful, comfortable property! We will definitely be back!

Best rental we have ever stayed at

We rent a lot on VRBO and this rental by far was the best we have ever had. The owner supplies EVERYTHING you need to actually be able to arrive and enjoy vacation. We went to grocery store on arrival and never had to worry about anything else. Upon arrival there was a personal note, special treat for us and endless goodies provided. Everything you need for fishing, pool time, beach etc was included. We loved our stay and next time we are back we will definitely be staying here.

What a magnificent home!

The pictures, as good as they are, don't do this property justice! It was beautiful, spacious, spotlessly clean, with lots of thoughtful snacks for us! Maghen could not have been more helpful or communicative! You owe it to yourself to stay in this glorious home. This is a fantastic five star accommodation. We are already planning our return next year!
