This hotel was excellent during our hurricane evacuation. Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms. Good location with free parking when you fly from JAX. Many restaurants and shopping nearby if you are driving through on I95. Nice breakfast and free. I recommend this hotel especially if you want a kitchen and a little extra space.

There are two aspects of this review - #1 - Hotel itself The Residence Inns have always been on my wife and my list of desirable places to stay because of the size of the rooms, the kitchenettes and the good hot breakfasts. However, this Residence Inn had just been renovated and very good got even better. Especially noteworthy was the extended desk with strip outlets on it and room for both my wife and me to get on our laptops at the same time. Additionally, there was LOTS of light with good strong bulbs. Great design. #2 - Hotel Staff - Again, staff has always been pleasant and accommodating ... BUT this visit was because of a Hurricane Irma evacuation, and we were there for an unknown period of time. (It turned out to be six nights). Shannon, the Manager and her group were fantastic. Shannon was everywhere it seemed for the entire time, day and night. The first breakfast we were there, she came around in the dining area with smoothies I hadn't even seen before for everyone. When the power went out (for nine hours only), she led the charge to prepare a cold breakfast but with plenty for all. Whatever we needed ... no matter how many changes of plans ... were all accommodated beautifully. Extra towels, sheets, supplies for the rooms all came instantly. And calls to the front desk were picked up immediately. I don't know how they did it! Shannon could lead a seminar for other location managers on how to do all this and keep everyone happy in some very unfortunate circumstances.

I stayed here for just shy of 2 months for business. I was originally booked for 3 months but due to the impending hurricane our employer had us come home early. The hotel was so accommodating with every detail of my stay. The mix Monday Tuesday and Wednesday evenings was great. Good food a day friendly employees to chat with. They were always asking if anything could be done to improve my stay. Since I left every morning at 5 am I wasn't able to have breakfast but was so thankful that they always had hot and iced coffee available for me. The three weekend breakfast mornings I wasn't working I throughly enjoyed the hot breakfast. The pool and patio was nice and peaceful. There's a nice fire pit and grill and provided many good evenings of conversation. Parking was plentiful and close to the room. My room was on the second floor and was a well appointed king suite. The suite had a full size fridge, stove top, full size dishwasher, cookware, silverware and plates& glasses. I was very happy with the room, staff, hotel and location. Wifi was free and worked well. I will definitely stay here again when my job requires me to be in Jacksonville again.

Clean and updated, with friendly and helpful staff and the included breakfast was better than most similar hotels. The room was comfortable, clean and quiet. Very short drive to the airport, or leave your car here (with the appropriate room rate), and take the shuttle. Shuttle was great, but on return, we did have to wait at the airport for 40 minutes for it since it serves a few properties there.

I stayed here when visiting family. The hotel was very clean and the staff was wonderful. My suite was very comfortable and so was the bed. I really enjoyed my stay and would return again. The breakfast was what you would expect and very tasty.

We drove from Maryland heading to the west coast of Florida and decided to stop here for the night since we had Marriott Rewards points to use. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The staff was exceptionally helpful especially Kathy who checked us in (evening), and the day shift person who's name I unfortunately don't remember. Very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend and would be happy to stay here again.

In last week for a overnight stay to visit my son, his wife and new Grandchild. Great room, very clean and fresh, Great bed & Breakfast. The staff is super to my son & family as they are staying for several weeks during the adoption. Five star in my book.

Hotel was fine but front desk manager had bad English and asked a lot of questions. We asked to be put on the same floor, rooms beside each other. On the same floor but not near one another. Never made it to breakfast. Hotel nicely renovated but only 1 small elevator and it was hot inside. Word to the wise, checkout is at 12 noon, per your website. If I have do not disturb on my door at 8 am, do not knock on the door! I don't care if the next room checked out at 5 in the morning and you're trying to clean rooms. Clearly I do not want to be awake!! I still had 3.5 hours of good sleep left. Housekeeping, find a better strategy and tactics.

Our first night in the Sunshine State was made even nicer but our stay the Residence Inn Jacksonville Airport. Conveniently located on the Airport Blvd near I-95 with plenty of good restaurants nearby and a great breakfast the next morning we were well rested and ready to continue our journey on down the peninsula. We were pleasantly surprised that our room was so quiet. The 2 room suite had a basic kitchen and full bath with a door separating the living and sleeping areas, nice and clean, great bedding. Thank you for a good nights sleep.

This place was a lifesaver! My husband and I traveling on our way back home from getting our home ready to rent desperately needed a place to stay and Residence Inn and Kathrin saved us as no matter where we looked everything was booked! Kathrin at the front desk was completely awesome helping us out and giving us a generous military discount to these two tired vets. Our room was nice and clean, though there was no shampoo or even soap at all in the room. Not sure about that. But the most important thing was the comfy bed. Thank you again Kathrin for making our night!
