We had a great stay at this Residence Inn. We are avid travelers and are loyal to the Marriott brand, but this hotel stands out as one of the better experiences. What we liked most was the customer service. Though the facility is not brand new, it is well maintained. Cleaning and maintenance staff work hard and work cheerfully. Pete at the front desk was exceptionally helpful at check-in. We arrived in time to enjoy the complimentary happy hour after a long day of traveling. Breakfast was great with plenty of options. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others.
This is not a Residence Inn. It is a hotel room with a kitchenette and the website description is totally misleading. I have stayed in many Residence Inns over the years and they have all had full kitchens as this one advertises - but don’t be fooled. The kitchen does have a full size refrigerator but a microwave and two burner stove top (built in hot plate) does not constitute a conventional stove and oven as their website claims. The cookware is barely serviceable as the frying/sauté pan is domed in the center so any oil ends up in a ring around the outside and since it’s not flat, you can’t cook anything evenly. No dishwashing soap is provided, only a one shot automatic dishwasher detergent packet was provided. The phone is next to the bed rather than on the desk making it very difficult to conduct business calls. Get the studio room if you want a king size bed as the wall in the one bedroom only leaves enough room for a queen size bed. The hot tub jets don’t work and the hot tub was barely warm. The staff acknowledged that the jets have never worked right and claimed to turn the heat up but there was no change. It is the most dissatisfied I have ever been with a Marriott property and I’m a Gold rewards member so I stay in a lot of them. If you are a business traveler looking for just a hotel room it’s probably fine although wildly overpriced. If you are expecting an extended stay suite, stay someplace else.
Very nice hotel. Front desk staff treated me like family and made me feel welcome. Room offers modern amenities. Very clean and cozy. Would definitely recommend. Hotel was booked, but room was very quiet.
We enjoyed our stay while there for a competition. Plenty of restaurants nearby as well as a Starbucks in walking distance. They offer breakfast, complimentary, in the morning as well. Hotel was quiet and professional which is what we needed at that time
This hotel is located right by a busy highway but seriously it is tucked away and you can't hear the traffic at all. The staff is very nice, the breakfast is good, and the hotel is very clean. They are also very responsive to requests - we had a coffee maker break at 10pm and they were quick to replace it for us. Will be sure to stay here again on our next trip.
We booked a room at the Residence Inn Indianapolis Northwest for a family get away. It was clean and met our needs for the trip. It was 95 degrees, so I was really glad the air conditioning worked great. The staff was extremely friendly from the moment we walked in. They told us the times that complimentary food and beverages would be served. We went about our business and got back late to the hotel. I inquired about getting a beverage even though we had missed the cut-off for the free beverages, but the manager on duty, Kristine George, personally took care of us. All the staff made us feel very welcomed, but Kristine George bent over backwards to make our stay even better. While she was taking care of us, she asked us about our day and our plans for our time in Indy. Kristine George was genuinely friendly and really seemed like the kind of person you wouldn't mind hanging out with. Overall, it was a great stay with friendly and attentive staff. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Thanks to Kristine and all the staff at Residence Inn Northwest for helping to make our family trip fun and memorable!
The setting is great. Everything you would need to have a quiet beautiful evening in was there. If you choose to walk around it was very beautiful and serene. Lots of places to eat or bring back your food too. We chose to cook and create appetizers...NO KIDS were with us...so it was even better. Be ready to wish you had stayed longer. SO NEXT TIME I WILL. SIMPLY DELIGHTFUL
Stayed here in early July; greeted by a very helpful gentleman at the desk upon check in, who told us about how far we were from the locations we needed to travel to during our stay. Good breakfast offerings, nice evening receptions. Clean rooms. Would recommend and would stay there again.
We stayed here for 9 nights while our son was racing Quarter Midgets at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Another family stayed with us so we booked the 2bedroom/2bathroom Suite.(6 people total) Everything was very clean. Breakfast was very good with different selections each morning. The kids enjoyed the indoor pool. Laundry on the 2nd floor which was very nice after being away for so long, (You can buy detergent and dryer sheet packs for a $1each) 1 load of laundry was $1,25 to wash and the same to dry. Will definitely return next year!
After having a less than stellar experience at a competing hotel in the area, I recently stayed here for the first time. The room was spacious and very clean with excellent amenities. The evening reception was a nice touch, with great food and free beer and wine. Wireless and wired internet in the room were both fast. The fitness center was pretty basic, with just three newer cardio machines and not much space, but a day pass to an area YMCA is included with the room. What's more, I had three specific and simple recommendations for the fitness room. The suggestions were noted and received with appreciation and the detailed email received just days later from the general manager was one of the most respectful, attentive, and professional emails of this nature I had ever received in my travels. Kudos all around for the great customer-centric training they obviously give their entire staff, the well-kept facilities, and the great location. I will definitely be back!
