I stayed 2 nights for a wedding and it was a nice stay. Comfy bed, pillows not so much . I asked for a softer one and they did find me one. Food was good and the staff were very friendly.

A nice enough place to spend a night before a flight. Shower was clean and powerful. Close to local bus lines that get you to Gatwick South 24h per day - you can also walk to Gatwick South if you are committed enough. Slightly on the noisy side (as every airport hotel is!) with people moving in the corridors throughout the night. I would stay again though; it was a lovely start to the holiday - thank you :)
