The hotel location and airport shuttle both met our meets and were fit for purpose i.e. one-night stay before flight. Check-in was also smooth and super efficient. The overall hotel and room were very clean and comfortable. The breakfast offering was also good. However 2 of our party of 4 experienced food posioning which, by process of elimination, we tied back to the Caesar salad at dinner. Better care and food safety practices need to be implemented. The dinner service from the staff also left a lot to be desired. We were initially ignored until we asked for menus, they got the order wrong, and were barely apologetic. "Disdain" is the word I would use for the treatment we received in the restaurant.

Lovely spacious room. Beautiful lobby and ground floor space. Great food at the restaurant, choice of cocktails could have been better. Location was perfect, walking distance from Gatwick and/or a 3 min bus. Would stay again if flying out from Gatwick.
