Everything about the stay was perfect! The staff were efficient, courteous and friendly. The food menus looked great although I had already eaten disappointingly. Theon was great - a good size with a comfortable bed. Bathroom super and the best hotel shower I have had in a long time. Having not stayed here before I will definitely returning before my next Gatwick flight. Well done!

Warm welcome from member of staff who helped us with our luggage from the taxi drop-off to reception and then to our room. We took up the offer of a (paid) upgrade to a room enjoying Club Millesime facilities (drinks, snacks etc gratis). All excellent, as was our room, with a good breakfast the following morning. Clearly the Club attracted a clientele that was going to substitute the complementary drinks a snack dishes for a meal in one of Sofitel’s two in- house restaurants. The Club was run by the charmingly unflappable Margo who managed look after at least thirty guests at any given time with charm and efficiency. We chose to have dinner at the Asian restaurant which was excellent, attentively served and fairly good value. Recommend the Sofitel for those wishing to get their holiday to a great start the evening before…..

Lobby and rooms: very good. Minus lack of coffee machine in the bedroom though, surprising for a Sofitel. But they provide free bottles of water in the bedroom. Elevators are so-so but nothing risky. The club sandwich at The Terrace restaurant : avoid.

Never disappoints! Lovely comfortable room, bed was to die for. 100% for cleanliness and comfort. Friendly staff in all areas. Breakfast was lovely with lots of variety and we ate in the restaurant for evening meal, again it didn’t disappoint. Convenience for the airport terminal is perfect, makes a great start to our holiday.
