Due to tyfoon coming in and our flight canceled we had to stay 2 more nights. After already staying here for 11 nights, they raked us $300.00 per night because whole city was booked. I guess they don't care.

Hotel fit what we needed. Just stayed here couple of nights for business. No major complaints. Satisfied my needs.

I stayed 3 nights in this hotel and have to say that it was quite a hassle with all the chinese tour groups ...Its a nice and clean hotel but You just have this big chinese tour groups coming in and out every moment and that makes this hotel just worthless ...quite a hassle to go up and down with the small elevators ...I really don't suggest if you are a family or need your comfort zone ... The location is another con as there is no MTR around ...quite a walk to sheung wan MTR ...at least 30 Mins ...

Our visit was a short 4 days with packed pre-arranged meetings with friends. As hotel was located off the MTR line, got to hop on the free hourly shuttle bus to go to Central where the transport connections are, and where action is. A clean and tidy room with all necessary amenities well positioned. Will likely stay here again.

I'm not sure I'd call this a four star property but it was more than adequate and was a good value for what I paid. Location so-so but hey - it's still Hong Kong. Minor issues - only one 120 V outlet - in the bathroom. Breakfast buffett a little pricy but the restaurant was good.

Excellent and courteous service, great lounge on the 28th floor and overall a great experience and good value for money. The one thing is that its location is not yet reachable directly by an MTR subway station but is easily acessible by taxi and the regular shuttle bus that the hotel provides. Will definitely be going back for future trips.

Everything works out well for me since I just stayed in the hotel for the overnight layover in Hong Kong. I can easily find a local restaurant nearby the hotel for dinner. The hotel provides bus shuttle to HK international airport with a reasonable fare.

From the moment I checked in until I checked out, my stay was enjoyable and relaxing. The staff was willing to help 24/7 and the overall value was amazing. Would definitely stay here again!

Hotel is close to public transportation - buses and trams. It is also a short bus ride to the ferry terminals.

This hotel is very useful for visiting consulates (10 minute taxi ride). Clean, comfortable, with some good views of the harbour. My only complaint is their lousy Internet connection. It seems a lot of hotels use the same terrible software to manage the network, including sign up pages that hijack your http requests even though Internet is included in the room price. Terrible packet loss making VPN and RDP connections unusable for much of the day, and on top of that the transfer rate is capped per room... I would stay again if I had to visit the consulates, and had no online work to do.

This is a solid hotel for the price. It is convenient to ost desinations on HK Island.

We arrived to find there were no rooms available with our selected type and a double bed. The choice was to sleep in singles, or pay more. My laptop has a North American plug, and the hotel doesn't loan power bars or outlet adapters. We had to find a hardware store that sold the $0.80 item. The free internet service they provided is not a straightforward wired connection. You have to navigate through their sign-up page every 24 hours. The room we upgraded into was comfortable and clean with a mountain view. Hotel staff were friendly, with some limited English skill.

The hotel has that new, clean and modern looks of that 4 stars standard. It has swimming pool, fitness room and lounge with great views on 30th floor roof top. My room althought on average size but it is super clean with all kinds of amenities like safe, plasma tv, refrigertor and many electronic outlets... The hotel often offers great deals I think because of the location, a little way out of Central district. But if you don't mind taking the 7 minutes slow tram, which is one block away from the hotel, to the central then this hotel should be one of the best deals around in HK.

Except the location (which is not too bad),this hotel is really great one,the price is cheap and its quality is 4 star level. The room is clean and the service is great. However, there is one thing, the internet is very expensive, 24 hour pass is around 10 dollars, and this 24 hour is counted from the first time activation. It is different from some European hotel case:24 hours is accumulation of the actual usage time.

My wife and i had our honeymoon in HK. Most of the time we were away exploring the city but when we were at the hotel we were extremely satisfied of the service and the facility. They have a dedicated staff for english speaking guests, and were very accomodating of our requests. Also the location is very close to local restaurants, bakeshop,7/11, Mcdonalds and KFC so we were able to save a lot by choosing to dine outside and bring in stuff like water, bread etc. Also they have a scheduled free shuttle service to and from the airport and local destinations in HK.I have already recommended the place to my family and should we ever go back to HK, we will definitely be staying at Jen Hotel.

Although the hotel is a little west of the central zone, it is in a fun residential area that gives a good flavor of local life, and is easily accessible to the tourist centres via the hotel's free shuttle bus as well as trams. The room was bright and spotless - a welcome rest stop after weeks of travel! Very comfortable and friendly. My only complaint is that the internet was expensive -- 50$HK for one hour of access. Otherwise, had a lovely stay, and the free shuttle bus to/from the Airport Express is fantastic. Nice job at this hotel!

It was what we hoped for and expected. Staff was efficient and helpful.

Our family and friends enjoyed 5 days in Hong Kong at Hotel Jen. The hotel offers excellent value with clean, modern rooms and facilities that made our short stay comfortable. The Jen room(mid-price range, standard is basic)included breakfast, cocktail hour, Wi-fi in-room. The rooftop pool has a great view, gym is well-equipped. In addition, we used laundry service, prompt return and perfectly pressed(curry stains gone)and the hotel restaurant for dinner, the menu includes a variety of dishes including vegetarian options, we received discounts of 30% from our waiter. The purpose of our trip was a family wedding which left a little time to sightsee. Getting around on public transportation is easy, buy an Octopus Card when you arrive at the airport it is prepay pass for most means of public transport and can be refilled at the 7 11 or machines in MTR(rail)station. The hotel is located in mixed residential/small shop area, safe and the cabbies find it easily. The hotel shuttle provides local service arrange at desk. Lost, need help, ask someone, the people are friendly and helpful. We went to the 'Great Buddah' on an important holiday, the crowds were patient and respectful, nothing like the crowds in some of our American cities.

I booked a non-smoking room but was assigned to a smoking one. When I asked for a non-smoking room, the reception staff said that she can't help me because that was not what was booked thru Orbitz. The room was hardly habitable for a non-smoker like me. The bed and pillows stank of cigarette smoke. Even the towels smelled of smoke, indicating that they were not changed when the last occupant left. Whenever I made queries or requests (e.g., I requested for a late check out-which was not granted), the staff bordered on being rude, and made me feel as if they were making me a great favor for just talking to me. I would definitely not stay here again, and would not recommend it to friends.

I really liked the hotel's location: quick and easy to get to central (tram, bus or minibus) and around the hotel there's loads of local eateries. The staff were helpful and friendly; decent pool on the roof too. Great value for money for Hong Kong!
