Paid $230 for a motel that should have been $80. Smelly room, desk clerk has a nose ring hanging from her face.

It was a bit noisy. We might have been next to the laundry room. Some of the neighbors like their motorcycles too much and some where playing their music far too early in the morning. It’s in a good location though and we slept well enough.

The hotel is two blocks from the main shopping area of downtown Helen. An easy walk to the stores and various restaurants. It is also one block from a grocery store. The room was very spacious and clean. The front desk staff were pleasant and very helpful. Parking was free and in most cases you could park in front of your room.

We chose the Quality Inn because it was pet-friendly. We were pleased to find this hotel clean, quiet, and close to everything in town. The staff was great! We will stay again if we are ever up that way.

Was better than expected, remodeled inside, large bed, fabtastic sheets

Great breakfast and great location. Clean room for a 1 day stay.

Face towels were covered in STAINS and ROACHES were crawling around the tv and on the night stand next to the pillows. I mentioned to the staff about the issues and nothing was done. Talked to Orbitz to fix the problem and the recommended a discount for the inconvenience. The the manager of Filthy Inn called me back and insisted roaches were never present and that they'd never use dirty towels. It's truly unfortunate about the blantant denial of the dirty room because the potential for a great Inn is present. I'd recommended a more accommodating manager and investment in a professional cleaning company.

Great location. Within walking distance to most stores and restaurants. Although on Thanksgiving Day don't expect those stores and restaurants to be open. Breakfast better than the usual "continental fare". Badly insulated floors won't filter noise from 2nd floor rooms. Prices for the rooms should be adjusted downward on Thanksgiving Day and any other when the town is "closed for business".

Was extremely disappointed that the pool was closed with no warning. We rode motorcycles thru the mountains and the reason I got this room was for the outdoor pool. But it was closed for no inspection? Really? Won't stay again.

Honestly at first my boyfriend and I had never stayed in a Quality Inn and with the price being so low we were uncertain of the quality of the Quality Inn. However, to our pleasant surprise the hotel was very nice! The entire staff was extremely friendly. The interior of the rooms had recently been remodeled and were very nicely kept. The room was spacious and furniture comfortable. Truthfully the best location ever! In the small town of Helen there is no parking or you pay to park and then walk around the town. The hotel literally was a one block walk to Main Street where all the shops and restaurants were. We left our car at the hotel the whole trip. The grocery store and liquor store are directly across the street. The best little down home grandma's kitchen restaurant called "The Meeting Place" is right next door to the hotel. We had a fantastic time in Helen and will go back. Definitely the Quality Inn is the place we will stay!!!

Great location. Easy to walk to everything. Nice room and clean. I would stay there again.

Right away the lights in the room needed replacement bulbs, the bed/pillows were not comfortable, at all, but the overall cleanliness of the room seemed to be fine (in the dark :) ). Location was great and staff was pleasant.

Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Otherwise, we were placed on the second level in an undesirable location - no elevator available. We were told that we had to take that room because we booked through a third party even though there were several rooms available on the first level. Apparently, they discourage anyone from trying to save a few dollars. The hotel was old and not very well maintained.

The staff was very friendly. Me and my husband was very satisfied with our stay ...

The room was adequate but the AC only had a high and low setting so it was hard to get the correct temperature. The hotel is a very short walk from downtown Helen and the hotel key card provided a nice discount at the local mini golf and ice cream parlor. The property seemed rather unkempt and worn out, with a slight musty smell in the room, but overall it was fine for a two night stay. All the hotels in Helen are overpriced, and this one was not an exception. Middle of the road quality but the front desk staff were all very friendly and helpful.

This hotel is moderately priced for the area. The area offers alot of hotels but there is little difference in them. I feel like I stayed at the best one of them for the money. We went for our 6th month anniversary. It was in easy walking distance from everything. The room was clean and even deodorized so it even smelt pleasant. The bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows and the room had a refrigerator. The staff was courteous and helpful on picking restaurants and entertainment and even offered discounts to them. Great Stay.

Stopped off here with friends to visit Helen and move on to Rock City the following day. This is an expensive price for a discount Hotel, but compares favourably in price to other discount Hotels in the Town. Its a take-it-or-leave-it choice, as you are in easy walking distanvece of some very nice restaurants and bars. However, the hotel is tired. Whilst adequately clean, the decor and fittings have long seen their best with low occupancy revealed by musty rooms from the lack of fresh air ventilation. Breakfast was packaged cereals or limited fruit and some packaged sweet pastries. Could have gone to the local grocery store next door for more appetising food.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Staff was very friendly and eager to assist with any questions we had. Bed was very comfortable and room was really clean. I highly recommend.

Staying at Quality Inn in Helen, was amazing super friendly staff, great location, great prices, your just right outside of Helen. You can still park at the hotel and walk its not too far. Everything was amazing.

Walked down to the little city of Helen quiet a few times....I'm going to miss just not being there....This was a unigue town, which I would visit again....
