Immediately visible from the highway but part of a complicated scheme of small streets, the hotel is sparkling clean and modern. The staff were always helpful and responsive. The room was sleek, modern, and well designed. The bed was sleep perfect. Three days of dismal weather were brightened by ...
I loved this hotel! The staff was extremely nice and helpful. The rooms were very spacious and clean. The free breakfast was very good. It's very close to a lot of good restaurants and shopping. Also very close to the university. Will definitely stay here again!
The room was nice and the staff was friendly. The front desk was sure to call the room shortly after check in to ask if everything was satisfactory. Breakfast was extra but only 5 bucks each at check in for above average food. The hotel is conveniently situated next to the two main roads for Hattiesburg ...
location was the ONLY positive quality. the front desk clerk explained to me how to open the door, as it's a little tricky. insert & remove the key, lift up on the handle & pull BEFORE pushing down and opening the door. it was obvious at first sight the door had been tampered with. then my key didn't ...
Hotel is undergoing major renovations, including new ownership and a new name. My room was changed 3 times because of missing safety latches on the doors and an infestation of roaches. I had to purchase my own room supplies. Some of the management staff were very rude and unhelpful. They wanted to charge me more money for being moved to one of their better and already renovated rooms, which one of their daytime managers moved me to, in order to keep me from leaving. In its present state, I wouldn't recommend this place...for free!
location was the ONLY positive quality. the front desk clerk explained to me how to open the door, as it's a little tricky. insert & remove the key, lift up on the handle & pull BEFORE pushing down and opening the door. it was obvious at first sight the door had been tampered with. then my key didn't work. once the key was reset & i was actually able to get in the room (the door was also hard to close, btw) there was a foul, nasty odor. even with sinus congestion i could smell it. the toilet leaked from the bottom so there was toilet water on the bathroom floor. NASTY!! hhmmmm.... possibly part of the odor problem??so i get ready to shower & guess what?? i forgot my soap!!!! so i used the "complimentary" soap. maybe it's from the moisture in the room.... maybe it was just old.... whatever the case, the color from the paper had bled through to parts of the soap leaving nasty looking red spots on the otherwise white soap.yes, there was a coffee maker.... but no coffee pot. i would imagine using the paper/cardboard cups in place of a pot would be a fire hazard?also, if you don't book your room directly through them [...]they REFUSE to give any type of receipt. [...] i mean.... what would it hurt for them to print a freakin' receipt????overall, i was NOT happy with my stay & will not stay there again.
The room was clean and spacious. We did not spend too much time at the hotel because we were visiting family.
Nice rooms. Some have been updated. Parking is scarce. Breakfast is limited, but free. Low water pressure. Clean room.
