The mattress was worn out, had many layers of toppers on it. Finished off with a fitted sheet that due to the toppers was too small and kept coming off. A piece of baseboard tile had came loose from the wall, could tell it had been caulked back to the wall several times. The parking lot was well lit and kevel. The lobby was nice with plenty of seating and too large screen TVs. 24/7 coffee and tea service. Onsite market for snacks etc… Breakfast was good as well. The only issue was the bed which is the main reason for staying at a hotel. We choose this hotel for a king bed, but the bed was worn out and due to the poor attempt to add toppers they knew it needed replaced.

Got to the room and it had NOT been cleaned. Pillows pilled on the bed and all the linens and towels were in a plastic bag in the bathroom. Went downstairs they switched his rooms. It was cleaned and taken care of. Then it goes off the rails the next morning. Went down for breakfast in the morning if it was something that didn’t have to be heated and served hot there was plenty but as far as your normal hot foods, they barely put out enough for 2 to 3 people. Breakfast was from 6:30 to 9:30 in the morning. We were there at 8:15 to 830. Staff is on the phone griping about having to make hot food and how long it was taking in these people wouldn’t just go somewhere. To even the front desk staff being on their phone watching videos and we were a bother to even come up and would not print us a receipt but just told everybody oh you receive an email we don’t get those out. This was a first time stay and I will never stay at an Avid hotel again!!! I’m grateful that the bed was good to sleep in, but that’s pretty much where it ends!!!
