Tried to check in around 10pm and difficult process with front desk staff who kept raising issues with my reservation but finally conceded. Better customer service need. Rooms also seem to be tired and worn although relatively quiet
location was the ONLY positive quality. the front desk clerk explained to me how to open the door, as it's a little tricky. insert & remove the key, lift up on the handle & pull BEFORE pushing down and opening the door. it was obvious at first sight the door had been tampered with. then my key didn't work. once the key was reset & i was actually able to get in the room (the door was also hard to close, btw) there was a foul, nasty odor. even with sinus congestion i could smell it. the toilet leaked from the bottom so there was toilet water on the bathroom floor. NASTY!! hhmmmm.... possibly part of the odor problem??so i get ready to shower & guess what?? i forgot my soap!!!! so i used the "complimentary" soap. maybe it's from the moisture in the room.... maybe it was just old.... whatever the case, the color from the paper had bled through to parts of the soap leaving nasty looking red spots on the otherwise white soap.yes, there was a coffee maker.... but no coffee pot. i would imagine using the paper/cardboard cups in place of a pot would be a fire hazard?also, if you don't book your room directly through them [...]they REFUSE to give any type of receipt. [...] i mean.... what would it hurt for them to print a freakin' receipt????overall, i was NOT happy with my stay & will not stay there again.
