Overall we consider rebook this hotel after the pandemic has ended. Pros The receptionist was extremely nice. We loved that they had a snack area setup where we could could water and other little treats. The room was tastefully decorated and the bed was comfortable. Cons The room was clean however, we found several strands of hair on the bathroom floor and one strand in the bed. When we went down to breakfast there was multiple tables covered in crumbs and we had to wipe down the table ourself. As we were exiting the property, we noticed several staff members who weren't wearing mask while they were working.

Extremely professional made us feel welcome and went out of their way to group our rooms together. Overall great experience

The amenities were great! One problem I didn't like. I booked two rooms but when I arrived there they only had one room booked. It took a While to get it straightened out so they gave me another room on another floor. In the end it turned out good.

Close nice and clean! Will make this my go to hotel every time.

I was honestly surprised when we arrived at the hotel as I still recalled what I will call the "old Hampton Inn" in Hattiesburg -- very near the existing Hampton/Home2. The current Hampton was a pleasant surprise as I didn't know it was a combined Hampton and Home2 location. The facility was new, clean, with great amenities and showed true thought in its construction. I noticed the glassed-in shower cleverly placed the water controls on the opposite end from the shower head, allowing you to turn on the water and get it to the preferred temperature with getting blasted with cold water. You'd be surprised how many hotels still have the controls directly beneath the shower head. I like the convenience of having USB ports throughout the room in addition to extra power outlets. The staff was always helpful. They may have still been working out some kinks with the card key system in that my husband and I had to have our cards rekeyed twice during our stay. They worked great the first three days, then both on the fourth and fifth days we had to stop by the front desk on each day to have them rekeyed. I had a theory that maid service on the last two days may have a defective access key that wiped out our access. I just noticed that the keys went bad on the two days we had a different maid cleaning the room.

We stayed at the Hampton inn for 1 night for a wedding, the room was clean and everything was new. The Heat worked great, ( it was 24 degrees out ) the bathroom was functional and the free breakfast was great! the only problem with the room was the sliding barn door that covers the bathroom/closet was no longer attached to the hardware that allows it to slide. the screws had pulled out of the top of the door and the door has to be physically drug across the floor to get into the closet or the bathroom. Since we were only staying 1 night we decided to deal with it and not move everything to another room. I'm sure this could have been found by the staff before the room was rented out and I have no idea why they would rent a room in that condition.

Everything was awesome for the most part with this hotel. The only con was our room was right next to kitchen obviously where we were awakened starting around 5:45 am with banging pots and pans getting dropped in sink or at least that’s what it sounded like. We were in room 103. The bed and pillows were so comfortable as well and you could not have found nicer front desk night crew for a Thursday evening
