We stopped at the Comfort Suites in Hattiesburg on our way home from Pa. My husband was sick and we had to call an ambulance. He was in the hospital there for 5 weeks. I had to stay at the hotel for 2 1/2 weeks. Everyone there was so nice and did whatever they could to help and make me feel safe and comfortable. The hotel was clean and the staff was exceptional. I would definitely recommend this hotel.Thank you so msuch Sherry and staff.
Stayed at the hotel for one night to watch a football game at the University. Was very anxious when they placed us on the bottom floor which was just yards from the lobby. However, the room was clean and quiet and we got a nice sleep without having to wait for the elevator. Would stay on the ground floor if I return. Since it was only a one night stay and the football game was a night game, we did not spent too much time around the hotel. Cannot say much about the service or extras the hotel may offer but we did get a good night sleep. Clean room and quiet was the main thing that is important. But I do remember the excellent water pressure the shower had on the morning of our exit. None of this 'low-flow' crap. was one of the better showers I have had in a hotel in a few years. Breakfast was fine for a hotel. Microwave bacon, some funky looking eggs. and thawed out biscuits- but that was expected. There is a Hooters located right next to the hotel. So it was nice to park the car and just walk over to eat without getting on the road. Also Uber has a nice set-up in Hattiesburg. We took the service from the hotel to the stadium and back again. Under $15 and did not have to get on the road looking for a place to park. We did arriving an hour early and the room was not ready. However, one of the managers went ahead and checked us into the hotel and we went to eat while the room was being cleaned. Overall a nice stay.
Our room was in bad shape. The sink was falling off the wall. We are a platinum member and this is the worse room we have stayed in. The tile in the shower was cracked all the way across, the toilet seat was a very cheap plastic that slid over every time you sat on it. The wall look like it was just painted but it was not painted around the light plug. The towel rack was loose. Carpet was dirty. The door did not close tight and the hallway light lit up room not to mention the bright light right outside of our window. Staff was curtious. Room was not what you would expect from comfort inn
I was totally pleased with my recent stay in Comfort Suites. Upon our arrival, the desk attendant, Jessica, was very cordial and most helpful with checkin and with restaurant recommendations. The room was spacious, quiet, and comfortable. The breakfast was Comfort Inn/Suites hot and nice with a very friendly attendant.
We stayed here on the way to FL. Room was clean but had a musty smell. Pool was nice. Breakfast was good. I had a fake egg patty with gravy & sausage links. There is NO TRUCK PARKING like advertised on the choice app. I had to park my pickup & trailer across several spaces. Glad they were not full the night we stopped here or I would have had to park in the street.
We go to Florida several times a year and most always stay in Hattiesburg on our way home. This is the first time we stayed at the Comfort Suites there and we were very impressed. This is a very nice place and everything was neat and clean. It is located in an excellent area close to the Interstate where there are many places to eat close by. The room was very spacious and had a sectional sofa, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, etc. It was the nicest hotel in this category that we have stayed in. We will definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to others. I rarely give a perfect score but I just could not find anything wrong with this location.
The Comfort Suites in Hattiesburg MS was a wonderful overnight experience. The room was fantastic, the bed huge and plush, and the location was convenient to downtown. The room was fully decked with extras like a fridge, microwave, kureg coffee maker and an enormous TV. Wifi was easy to access and the staff was super helpful. And the breakfast? They had even had omelettes and a waffle maker. AWESOME! Thanks for a great stay Comfort Suites. See you next trip!
This was one of six hotels I booked on an extended vacation and it was the best of all. The room was very nicely furnished and the bed was perfect. The room and hallway was quiet but there was spot lights outside of the ground floor windows that shined through the curtain. It was hard to get the room dark; if you like a super dark room you might ask for a room on a higher floor. Location is great with two restaurants across the street and plenty of shopping a mile down the road.
First room had trash behind the sofa and a very large roach running around the room. Asked for different room and it had urine on the toilet seat and next morning a roach was found crawling on the bed.
Generally speaking I would always avoid Comfort Inns. But they have really upped their game, and this is no exception. Good and friendly service, clean rooms, quiet sleep and morning breakfast. Yes - we would go here again.
