The property is exceptionally clean, the breakfast was good with a variety of foods to choose. The swimming pool was a must have with two children. They had a great time. The staff are friendly and very helpful.

My friend & I stayed at the Residence Inn after our daughters cheer competition. The location was easy to find, the staff were friendly/helpful and the hotel very clean. They even made fresh popcorn at my friends request :) BUT the ABOVE & BEYOND was their assistance in locating and retrieving my 12 y/o daughter's favorite stuffed animal that she has had since she was an infant. The toy was mixed up with the bedding and left behind. The staff wrote notes and passed along the information over 3 shifts until they were able to retrieve the toy and called to let me know it was being sent to us via Fed Ex. THANK YOU SO MUCH...not only did we have a wonderful stay with a great breakfast but you have made one little girl & her mother very happy!!! Can't say enough!!
this is a great hotel and great location for us when we come to CT to visit our 2 sets of grandchildren. The staff is super friendly and the breakfast is very good, especially the eggs and coffee.
This place is great! Having a mini kitchen with fridge (own ice-maker) and microwave is soo nice. It made going back to the hotel seem more personal and relaxing. Instead of going back to a room with a bed and bathroom you feel like you're going back to an actual mini-home or apartment. The kitchen comes fully stocked with silverware, plates, cups and mugs which was a helpful and wonderful surprise. The bed was comfy and clean. Furniture and decorations are mildly outdated but this isn't a boutique hotel so I wasn't expecting much. Had a nice big flat-screen tv. Place serves an incredible hot, free breakfast in the mornings. Not just a bagel and muffin. I'm talking buffet-style eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy, make-your-own waffles, yogurt parfaits, juice, coffee, etc. The place could be cleaner. Kitchen floor was a bit sticky and there was this big wad of hair stuck to the wall in the shower. A little gross but I guess since everything else was so great I didn't really care, seemed like just a simply oversight.

The first evening was great until the next night the kitchen was over run with ants and the front desk proceeded to tell me that there was nothing they can do. At midnight we moved ourselves 1yr old twin and a 2 yr old needless to say we didn' t get to sleep till about 3am. The room had such a stinch in it I got sick. The hotel mgr never responded to our issues or apologized, I have written to corporate on this experience.
