The bedding was dirty, the towels weren't very clean. There were stains all over the walls. The bonus was a fridge and microwave, super convenient! It was close to the main road to get to the highway as well. Had issues with people from other rooms call the hotel phone or banging on the door at night.
No ice, just a very basic place to crash for a night
Clean and comfortable room with good amenities, easy parking, and close to restaurants and shopping. I stay here on my semi annual trips to Connecticut.
Not a very nice place to stay... but ok in general. Heater works great. Room is smaller than most motels. Great location: near ski area and wesleyan univ.
I made a qiuck weekend stop over. Room was clean, there is nothing special here, except it is cheap. The TV was old but adequate. If i was not traveling alone or was going to spend a lot of time here, I might go to a nicer facility, but for what I needed it was fine. Points for clean, no smells, quiet and polite helpful staff. Bed a bit hard.
Small but quiet, clean, and convenient for our visit with to a Middleton hospital. Refrigerator and microwave in room but no cups to make our own coffee or tea. Located just to the west of Middleton, the motel is only about 10 minutes away from attractive Main St., Wesleyan U, and Middlesex Hospital.
This is a small, cheap, no-frills room for a night. The owners probably have done what they can to dress up this minimal property. Our non-smoking corner room was clean, but the rug smelled like mildew and smoke invaded from the adjacent smoking rooms and from outside our door where the smokers congregated. During check-in we found the owners terse and guarded, not welcome and opening, as if they're unaccustomed to having customers they trust. Free wi-fi was a plus. This certainly is not a place you'd go out of your way to visit, but if you're just looking for a cheap clean room in Middletown, this may be what you want.
We stayed at the Inn during our sons graduation from Wesleyan University. The location is great if you are visiting Wesleyan for any reason. It's right up the street, less than five minutes by car. The rooms are small, but clean, comfortable and quiet enough for us. They also come with a refrigerator, microwave and cable television. Compared to the other hotels and motels in the vicinity, the price can't be beat.
