I showed up late at night around 2am. The staff at the front desk was very friendly. I received a courtesy call a few hours prior just to make sure I was still on my way and I appreciated that extra step. The hotel itself is beautiful and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was simple, but it was healthy and filling and a perfect start to my day. The view from the window I sat at was very calm and lovely. Wonderful place to stay, I will for sure be visiting again in the future when I make this trip again!

This is such a hidden treasure—and I will go out of my way to stay here! The Hamburg Inn is ninety minutes from my destination (taking my daughter back to college at CUNE), but I prefer to stay here overnight due to the cleanliness, room layout, friendly staff, and good breakfast. I’ve stayed in many different hotels, and this is among my all-time favorites. I’ve stayed here three times in the last two years, and will do so again!

Gem of a find!

This was by far the best hotel of the five nights travel driving home to Idaho from working in VA. Loved the balcony with a view of the small town. The rooms had cool looking old lamps for lights. Comfortable and super quiet. I thought I was the only one staying in the hotel until I saw people at breakfast the next morning! Coffee was nice and strong (a nice change from most hotel coffee!)
