Clarinda only has two hotels from what I could see. Super 8 is the only motel chain in town, the other is a private owned motel. You have to book up to a year in advance in order to have a room for any event that occurs there that is school related. Otherwise you are forced to Shenandoah or Maryville, MO. Otherwise, the motel was great, one of the best that I have stayed at. Breakfast is good and the staff are hardworking and diligent for their customers. The room was super clean. The pool is small, my husband commented that it was a large bathtub.
Had large truck and had large parking available. Bed was comfortable and they also had microwave and frig in room.
