The receptionist gave me a different room. I reserved a mini suite and they gave me a regular room. The guy that gave us that room didn’t explain why they change it, he tried to give me the key without explanation and even after 30 min he still didn’t gave me an answer on why the room that I reserved was available. Needs better customer service, the guy doesn’t have any customer service skill at all.

The hotel and rooms are a bit old, I was in a deluxe. Overall it was clean and breakfast was ok. You get what you pay for. The area is very good, a lot of dining options and very central. I find that prices of hotels in Guatemala are higher than in other cities (i.e. Panama, hotels of similar quality).
