Went to this hotel when the book fair was on at the expo centre .and on arriving at the hotel (after booking 2 weeks in advance) we went to reception to be told the room we booked wasn't available to us And had to have a room with to beds and we was not happy But went to the room anyway... as I wasn't happy I went down to reception and spoke to the manager and she got us a room with the king size bed as we requested So how the hell does the work?????? So all in all we was not happy with this hotel and would definitely not recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Guadalajara
The Good: good location and clean lobby. The Bad: broken bathroom windows, very very noisy and it's hard to sleep at night, broken bathroom door handles, carpet was dirty and old in room and hallways, they only give you two towels and shower was a little damaged. Over all.... I think it can be a better hotel if they paid attention to the obvious details. Will I stay here again?.... maybe not because I'm sure I can find better. Did this hotel make our Guadalajara experience bad? Not really. It was okay.
Good Hotel Good room service. Only issue I had was the bathroom outdated. Buffet was average, need more selections. Overall a good Hotel staff was very friendly. Also Hotel close to a major stores and churches.
Location is excellent for access to main historic centre but very noisy due to the main road. Old installations but clean and hot water. Breakfast was cheap but no tea. Internet fast enough for videos etc. Staff friendly but no touristic information available. Taxi stop right outside for shutting back to airport.
We spent one day here and it was nice. The room was clean and a great deal for the money. The location was great. It was walking distance to shopping and food. When we go back, we will stay there again. The l
I stayed here after New Years Eve. The hotel is very well located, within walking distance of the main attractions in downtown, although some streets might look a little shabby. The staff was very helpful and nice. The service was also excellent. We had the breakfast included, which had a nice varied selection of dishes and fresh fruits, but I must say the coffee was not that good. There is parking available but you have to pay extra for it.
This is a nice hotel for business. The lady that handles events is a reference for the rest of the people doing the same work at any hotel in the world. She fixed all the bad decisions and poor management of the agency that was paid to do that job. Even though the conference room had many columns obstructing the view she managed to fit 70 people comfortably. The room was good for business. The bed on my scale of 1 to 5 (1=poor, 5= excellent) was a 3 and the shower was a 5. There are enough outlets for 3 electronic devices in the same place. The restaurant service was fast, great food and very reasonable in price. The same event manager lady made sure I had breakfast before my conference. She literally made the kitchen to open before the normal schedule. Only little "grey" spot: the bed cover was a little dirty but considering the service for my conference this was irrelevant. So, if you give a conference at downtown Guadalajara feel confident to use this location.
This hotel is located in the very center of the city. That´s all. It´s small, it´s dark, the facilities are old, and the AC takes hours to cool the room. The restaurant inside is very poor, the buffet is the pitiful. On the other hand, you can eat in very good restaurants located near this hotel, the personnel is kind and the price is average.
Rooms are very dirty carpet need some deep cleaning urgent!! Black spots everywhere. AC needs update will not cool the room completely. When it's humid there is no ventilation. When we walked in the bathroom the sink was clogged it took maintenance almost all day to fix. Then he didn't bother in calling a cleaning lady to clean the bathroom after all the floor being flooded. Beds are hard as a rock. And the restaurant the waiters have a horrible attitude. If they don't like their job do not work here!! The mini fridge is way out dated and did not work at all. I wouldn't want to keep a soda in there.. To many things to add here I have all day..
As I said a good location..but rates are variable due to the time or agents you book thru. The house keepers was great and cleaned my room on request. I ate only once in the restaurant this trip and found the food too old and expensive for what they offered. Stay and enjoy tho.
