The room was incredibly hot and the aircon didn’t work, it made for a very uncomfortable sleepless night. The shower was broken so the water sprayed out everywhere from the hose, and the bathroom door wasn’t ‘sealed’ when closed meaning when the shower was on the water leaked out into the room. I also don’t think the room had been cleaned properly as you could see dust particles in the air.

Not my first time at Bloc Hotel and I've always been quite happy with their standards, but this time the room was not suitable for two occupiers, with the bed being too small (no way that was a double bed). Plus, because of the layout of the room, the person sleeping on the side of the wall couldn't do a bathroom trip without asking the other occupier to move first. Furthermore, the aircon was not working at all and at some point we were really gasping for air and had to open the door a little, which is far from ideal. We stayed there only a few hours because of an early flight, so we didn't bother to speak with reception, but that room shouldn't be given to two people plus aircon should be checked regularly in rooms without windows.

Superb little room, cosy and warm. Air conditioning easy to control. Tea & coffe on tap just down the hall. The bed was so comfortable. Having a birds eye view of the planes taking off was an added bonus. Brilliantly convenient for early morning flights.
