The room was spacious, but the bedding and other items had a bad smell. I couldn't sleep at night. The room was very old, and most of the outlets didn't work. They didn't refill items at breakfast, and there were very few options. However, the area is nice. They have lots of fruit and flowering trees, which look really beautiful.

Everything was very nice, except the room condition. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was right next to the underground garden, and we walked to it. The refrigerator worked well. The room size was big. The carpet had many stains, TV had little channel choices and signals were poor. The sofa arm was broken and one seat sunk in. Lights next to bed were not working, so as outlet. The bed looked clean and we checked there were no bed bugs. However, my husband and I were very itchy. I don’t know why, and maybe it was due to some harsh chemicals. The bed seemed comfortable at first, but it had little support, so we both woke up with body aches. The room condition was so bad that we didn’t take shower or eat the free breakfast. We just slept the night and went to the airport. I had no idea how this hotel can get such good review on the condition of the property. Later I looked back, I noticed that if there was a poor review, there would be many 5 stars came after that review. Unfortunately, we will not ever come back to this hotel again due to the condition of the facility.

Our room was 51 degrees upon arrival, there was trash left that had not been replaced by previous guests. Had to ask for extra blankets 3 times and everytime all we got were excuses as to why he couldn’t access the extra linen garage. At the third time asking for extra blankets because the room was beyond freezing, was told the employee could shut off ac unit from his office. We had heat set on 90 and could only get room temp to 56 degrees! Completely unacceptable treatment. Also they allowed other guests to party loudly and I do mean loudly even later into the night! Would NOT recommend this hotel!

The front desk area was very smelly. It was us assaulting to my nose. Anytime I had to go in there. I thought I was going to be sick. I asked how late the hot tub and pool were opened and he quickly said the hot tub was broken and to not get in the pool because it was dirty. I then went into the room and there was flies filling the entire unit. The bathroom had mosquitoes in it it was very dirty. The sheets were not cleaned. The furniture was falling apart, and there was questionable stains on the furniture. He also only gave me one key. I had to go back and enter the smelly office to get another Key. I would not recommend although if you do have to stay here there’s a really good Mexican restaurants next-door. staff was also rude and unpleasant. The bellhop trolleys had broken glass on them so I could not use them to carry my luggage. I

There was construction going on so the pool always had a layer of soot/dust on it and the hot tub wasn't working. Considering it was in the 90s the pool would've been nice, that being said as much as I enjoyed everything else about the stay (the front desk was awesome and the interior of the hotel was great!) I'm going to have to think twice about booking here on my next visit in November. Missing a major amenity is amjor deal.

Words cannot describe the beauty encompassed in this region. I was born in Fresno, California 54 years ago. I didn't discover this area, Garden Inn/Suites and the Forestiere Underground Garden until several years ago. A must-see and visit for the entire family!

What an amazing bargain for a 1-bedroom suite, just .2 mi from the underground gardens. Staff was beyond accommodating, and the pool was lovely.

The rooms are very old and outdated with stained carpeting. Broken air conditioning, breakfast buffet was terrible. Electrical outlet not working in my room. No, elevators and the steps were very slippery.When went. Soap dispensers were empty. I would not recommend this property.

Think twice

WiFi had spotty service. Phone did not work. I tried calling front desk but never got a dial tone. Hair dryer did not work. Whenever I turned I on, the bathroom lights turned off. The room was clean but outside the trash cans were full and overflowed to the ground. The front desk clerk knocked on my door at 11:30 pm waking me up just to ask my name and ask the spelling. I was shouting through the door because I did not want to open the door to a stranger late at night.
