beautiful I love the location of your restaurants, beautiful beaches wonderful staff.

3 flights of steps. No elevator. Pack light. I refused to stay.

The room was cozy. The marina was very pretty. Ferry to Port Lucaya right outside our door. Across the street from a Timeshare with a bar and restaurant.

This hotel was great value for the money. It is across the street from the TAINO BEACH RESORT. You recieve full access to the Beach and Pool by being a guess at this hotel. The staff was very friendly, the room clean and well lit. The Taxi/ boat that goes across the bay parks behind the hotel. easy axcess to go any and everywhere from the hotel. The Labby area does not have a big lounge area, but who needs to hang out in a labby when there is a great restaurant by the beach across the street. I was there for 9 days ,8 nights. I walk to the fish fry 3 nights ( usually Wednesday & Friday, I went Saturday night as well ) great fish. The fish fry area was 10-15 minutes walk, you could get a taxi round trip $6.00. The have live music / entertainment nightly across the bay. There was a Bun Fire every night by the beach across the street. We eat breakfast by the restaurant at the beach every morning. We dine a few nights @ Lacguia square.!!!!! perfect. The hotel has a discounted tour snortling excursion. There is Jet ski, Banna boat ride, Paddle boat rides etc. If you are the semi quiet type like myself you could just play in the water at the beach or just lay in the lazy river by the pool. I would definately stay there again.

It's ok. I missed though a reading light bulb. I asked for it upon getting in to the room but it was never belivered. So I had to get out of bed to put the lights off which is of course nlt good.

Convenient location with shuttle access to Lacuya Market Place. Customer service excellence clean, older rooms, but clean. Awesome winter getaway!! I would definetly return.....happy Canadian!!

The location was very good especially with the ferry if you want to port lucaya to shop or eat, the hotel and Taino resort was nice and clean people ware very friendly, the price at the pool bar for drinks and the restaurant ware very reasonable bottom line my wife and I love it. Ps Bahamas need to put more Bahamian music all around.

This hotel is much better as far as cleanliness and comfort rather than Taino beach, stay away from there! They share the same staff...not very nice..more than anything they need to fix up the island..

The hotel is clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Not much to do in the resort area located across the way and not much nightlife but the beach and pool were relaxing.

This was perfect for our short trip to Freeport. The hotel is across the street from the beach. You have access to all the amenities of a larger sister resort. beautiful pool, beach activities, chairs, swim up bar, etc etc. The only downfall is you have to take a ferry to Lucaya. but it's only a matter of a couple of minutes, and that can be part of the adventure. overall, a great value!!!

We had a 3 week stay and could not have enjoyed it more. We found most negative info in previous reviews to be false.Never had any problems with bath towels, beach towels, bugs, ac,time share solicitations, dripping water, or thin walls with other rooms. The room was clean and comfortable, although not huge and not new. The mini kitchen with small refrig, microwave, toaster and coffee pot was great. We bought groceries and made our bfast and lunch to save some $. The staff was very helpful and very friendly. The beach and pool accross the street were both wonderful. The only cons were no elevator, and we were on the 3rd floor, so if you can't climb stairs you may want a 1st floor room, but it was nice not having anyone above us( and we liked being on the marina side of the hotel). And the shower was missing the plastic cover for the hot/cold , so it was just a metal lever, which worked great. If you have to have a fancy, new room and an elevator, the Flamingo Bay may not be for you. But if you want a comfortable room with great staff, at a price 25-50% less than other hotels, then I recommend Flamingo Bay.

Great helpful staff, nice room, beautiful beach and pool. Water ferry to port Lucaya $5.00 round trip. Go to the Smiths point native fish fry on WED and SAT. We will go back very soon.

Yes, It was a nice inexpensive lil' hotel. You get what you pay for...Yes, For the right price I would stay there again. There is a hourly round trip shuttle boat to port Lucaya which charges a fair price of $5.00 dollars round trip.

We got a surprisingly nice room that overlooked the marina and included a microwave, mini=fridge, plates and silverware, and coffee maker. The mini-fridge was not a 'stocked bar.' Very pleasant room decor and comfortable bed. Our first morning there we discovered that the shower did not work properly; we reported it and it was repaired that day. The hotel is actually a large complex with a neighboring all=inclusive option. There is free WiFi service at the Welcome Center just down the road slightly from where we stayed. The enormous non-diving pool is also on the all-inclusive property and another very easy walk; it is so COOL! It has a waterpark-style slide, swim-up/walk-up bar, three water 'caves' and in-pool tiled beds for tanning! It is so fun! You will need to get a taxi or rent a car to get to this hotel from the airport, but it is not too far; a one-way taxi fare cost about $25.00 US Dollars. There is a very nice beach on the other side of the pool at the all-inclusive and as a guest at this hotel, you have access to it as well. There is security on site and a restaurant at the all-inclusive also; we did not eat there because of the activities we chose to do, but saw many people enjoying what looked and smelled fabulous. This hotel is surprisingly nice for the cheaper price; we would stay here again! Oh, and vehicles are driven on the LEFT-hand side of the road here, so be careful.
