Stayed here with a travel group. Rooms were nice and spacious. Buffet breakfast was delicious. Staff very friendly and helpful. The area surrounding the hotel was great. Overall a very pleasant experience.
Had the pleasure to stay here for 3 nights. Reception very nice, organized, got a great room. Traveling with dogs is always a little trouble but I felt totally welcome here. Housekeeping good and efficient. Breakfast first class. Definitely not my last visit.
There seemed to be ups and downs, sort of inconsistencies with the hotel. The hotel was a 15 minute cab ride (no traffic Sunday morning) and cost 40 Euro. Check-in at he hotel was fast and easy. ROOM (#538) I was upgraded due to my Platinum status. The room was modern and clean. There was a king bed with 2 night stands, sofa chair and table, desks and chair, an ottoman, a stocked minibar, closet with hangers, iron and board, a safe for valuables, coffee maker, 5 electrical outlets and 2 USB outlets. BATHROOM The bathroom had a stand-up shower (no bathtub) a sink, toilet, hairdryer, and 1 additional electrical outlet. RESTAURANT I had breakfast in the restaurant. It is 24 Euro for the buffet. The first day the food was very good, but I went when it first started. The second day I went toward the end of the breakfast service and it was barely mediocre; the food was all picked over and dried out. I'd recommend the buffet, if you went early and with a big appetite if you're paying 24 Euro. They had made to order eggs, such as an omelet, and also had scrambled, hard boiled, and easy over. They also had bacon, meatballs, potatoes, sprig rolls, deli meats and cheeses, breads and muffins with a variety of jellies, yogurts, and fruits. GYM The gym was mostly clean but very small. There was no TV and no music was playing so you may want to bring something of your own. It's well lit, but there is no natural light as there are no windows. The equipment is outdated. They had 2 treadmills, 1 elliptical, 1 stepper, 2 stationary bicycles, a bench, dumbbells from 2.5 to 25kg, and an exercise ball. LOUNGE The lounge is probably the smallest I've ever been in and also offered the least amount of choices. There was roughly 6 tables (4, 2-person and 2, 4-person). In the evening they had some drinks along with pastries, tomato and mozzarella, and like a tomato/beef/cheese on a cracker. I would definitely not pay extra for lounge access. OVERALL Overall, the best thing about the hotel was my modern room. The breakfast is hit or miss depending on when you go. The gym was small and outdated, and the lounge was, frankly, pathetic. If they could make some tweaks then I'd have an easier time recommending the hotel. As of right now, it's a gamble...
We stayed at this hotel in July and it was so clean, the bathroom looked like it had never been used before, the breakfast was very nice and lots of options, this was the start of a Trafalgar tour so after arrival in the afternoon we went to a laundermatt that staff gave us directions too, stafff were very friendly and helpful, bed were great as well
Bad AC inside room, they will tell you it's working but warm inside the rooms, internet needs to log in every time, rude customer service, no coffee or tea inside room, this is not a typical Sheraton hotel, rooms are outdated and dirty,
Bedroom: main light was out of service, the quilt was moving with me during the night because it was too small and not attached at the bottom of the bed. Bathroom: minimum provided (no makeup removal cottons, no nail file, no cotton-bud I usually use for makeup) meaning shampoo and body lotion (with phenoxyethanol and EDTA, but OK, not everybody is looking at the toxicity of beauty products…), metallic tissue box was almost falling off of the bathroom wall. Internet: need to log in again every time - annoying. Breakfast was not included: 24€ additionally to the 163€ of the single bedroom… Last but not least: a crazy guy called me on the room direct line at 4AM. When I complained about this, the receptionist just said “yeah, we’re sorry about that, apparently he called many of our customers that night”. So what? I travel for business, I needed to rest and couldn’t fall asleep again after that call, I stayed awake 1 hour... The receptionist just did not care about. No goodwill gesture. Could have offered the breakfast for example but it didn’t cross his mind or maybe customer experience is not part of the hotel policy. I come to Offenbach twice a year. For sure I will not come back to that hotel and will strongly recommend my colleagues to go somewhere else.
The Sheraton in Offenbach, Germany, is a hotel worth to stay and was modernized in 2017. The hotel's location is relatively centralized with a good price-performance ratio. The rooms (superior room) is equipped with flat TV, coffee maker, free internet (free in lobby, depending on the room), safe, mini-bar, a king size bed, air conditioning and ironing station. The room was clean and sufficiently spaced. Breakfast contained a good amount of choices whereas dinner is a la carte. Overall the service and friendliness of the staff should be mentioned. The Spa and gym area is very nice and a good place to relax. Parking space is available.
If you're in town for a short stay, this is the place to be. Pricy, so no place for a longer stay. Good and comfortable rooms, no amenities for tea and coffee on the room. The bed is very comfortable. No view available. Wifi is ok.
Relatively close to the airport, this hotel is away from all the hustle and bustle of Frankfurt yet is close to a train station and a square where there are plenty of eating joints. The rooms are clean and spacious. There is no sound of traffic. Unfortunately, some guests are not mindful of others and shout in the corridors that does create disturbing to guests trying to sleep. I would have preferred better cooling but I suppose it's not everyday that Frankfurt is hot. All in all, a good hotel. It takes approximately € 40.00 to the airport but taking a bus would be cheaper
Arrived this morning and have been in Frankfurt all day getting back at 3pm and bar is still not open. Disappointed. Acconodation in a superior room is comfortable, quiet and roomy. It is fitted with king size bed, desk, two chairs and table. The bathroon is modern and nicely appointed. Open bar within with limited choise and some snacks. There is no tea or coffee facilities. The room is dusty. Breakast is the usual 4 star buffet but the let themselves down by only having a nescafe machine instead of drip coffee or even better barista made coffee.
