This hotel has the best Bar Tender! NINA makes the best cocktails and takes very good care of all the guests at the bar ~ The selection at the bar was extensive and the vibe is excellent - I highly recommended it
Stayed here during new years eve for 3 nights. The hotel offers clean and spacious rooms, which seem to be newly renovated (club room on the level floor). The bathroom however was a bit outdated, but overall just fine. They serve a good continental breakfast. The lounge for spg platinum members was very low standard, free drinks but no snacks or sweet pastries. When we were there the steambath was under construction. Price quality rate is good. The hotel is situated near the Frankfurt Airport (abt 20 minutes).
Short stay before our morning flight. Room with basic amenities, no coffee and tea facility, small room. Before check out, we noticed that our room not at SPG level as expected even we already member of SPG and booked directly from SPG apps. Hotel is nice and clean by the way.
Sheraton in offenbach is a great location to be in a) for a tourist - there are lots of attractions close by like museums etc b) for the business traveller - a bit away from the main business hub but nice and quiet and well connected as well The rooms are well appointed and the breakfast is pretty good too!
As a Platinum card holder, we normally get an automatic upgrade to a better room than we had paid for. In this case it did not happen eventhough I enquired at check in. The Club Lounge is very starck with very uncomfortable upright chairs. It would be good to have some comfortable lounge chairs to sit on. The drinks area did not have any ice and we requested some , we were told we would be charged ! There is no refuse bin in the lounge so it does not take long for the place to look a mess. The breakfasts were very good with a large selection. The freshly cooked omlette was excellent. The front desk staff were all very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in close proximity to the S Bahn and also the centre of Offenbach so walking to restaurants is easy. Could really be an excellent hotel with a few more attention to detail.
Stayed on Saturday 30th September for one night as this hotel was the starting point for our Trafalgar Tour. The room was as you would expect for a 5 star hotel, clean tidy and stocked with everything you needed, so no complaints with this side of our stay there. Well done to the team at the Hotel.
Great hotel for one or two nights. The location is not perfect but good . Service very good. Restorant vote 7. The room is comfortable and very cleaned. I can recommend to everyone for the price and quality.
This was the only hotel we could find last minute near our client’s offices. I have no complaints at all apart from the price (€293 for one night one person no breakfast included which was why I gave it a 4*) but I think there is an under supply of hotel rooms in Frankfurt sometimes due to exhibitions etc. Oh - just remembered I couldn’t find a kettle in the room! One thing that I was surprised about was that the very ordinary restaurant had a really good menu. Nothing elaborate but I do recommend the fillet steak. Medium rare it was perfect. My compliments to the chef. The tomato soup with cheese was also good. An extra point for the availability if tomato juice. The waitress recommended the burgers but don’t listen - treat yourself to the steak.
I've been visiting Germany of a 3 weekly cycle for work. For over a year now I've been staying at the Sheraton, however despite their supposed revamping of the dining room which looks exactly the same, I'm afraid to say the service in the hotel is getting worse. I'm an spg member which means I stay there frequently, however as my work books my trip I frustratingly don't get the point unlike the other hotels in the area like Wyndham. The breakfast provided is increasingly becoming more and more disappointing with variety, 2 cereals out but don't worry plenty of seeds instead! Dinner in the hotel is also very disappointing and again on the downward spiral. I've now started eating out as the menu choice is poor, last night however as it was cold I decided to give the restaurant one last go, so order a chicken Caesar salad, I had a small amount of chicken and the remainder was Romania lettuce, not even different varieties of lettuce! Anyhow upon arrival I noticed they gave me a level 2 room, spg members are 3 and 4. I was told not to worry that it is an "executive room." Ok so off I trotted and entered to find a single bed! Actually two single beds with a 2 foot gap in between. I returned to reception and was basically told take it or leave it. The service on the front desk is shockingly poor. I met up with my colleague who was on the first floor and apparently her room stank of cigarettes / drain issue, she also had complained to reception and got the same response and I had. I've now told my team of 7 that we are no longer staying there despite it being 10 minutes down the road of my office and instead have opted to stay near Frankfurt Main. My recommendation is to stay at the Wyndham or Adina in central Frankfurt, similar price, easy train ride away but million times better!
This is the procedure for entering the gym: 1) Go to the gym 2) Read sign that says go to reception for key to gym 3) Go up to reception 4) Queue in line (in gym clothes) with everyone who is checking out as there no else who can hand the key over 5) Sign document to get keys, which is a keycard 6) Go back down to gym This took 5 minutes, only because I skipped the queue (step 4), much to the understandable annoyance of the other guests. Later when checking out, I asked why they have this unnecessarily complicated procedure (I have never come across this before), I was told it was because of "control". When I suggested that surely my room keycard would let them know who enters the gym, I was told that I sign in order to accept the "terms and conditions". Whatever the reason is, they have not thought about it from the guest's point of view, only the hotel's. This is a completely unacceptable experience in a 5 star hotel.
