Everything was fine but due to construction it was quite loud during the day in the rooms and the “room cleaning” was only an exchange of towels and emptying trash cans.

Hotel has went downhill.

I stayed in this hotel 3 years ago so decided to book again. This time was with 3 friends as we were over training Jiu-jitsu. On Sunday morning (3rd August) the girl on the desk was rude and spent the time on her phone chatting to friends while looking at makeup tutorials. We were an inconvenience to her when checking out and asking to store luggage. Each night there were A LOT of people in the corridors running rampage all night. Singing, banging doors, going up and down the elevator. The breakfast was absolutely terrible this time compared to the previous time. Definitely not worth the money. I wouldn't stay here again and would avoid if you value your sleep. Pillows aren't comfortable nor is the mattresses. 2 beds pushed together. The carpet throughout the hotel is filthy too. The location is positive though.

très bon hôtel, bien situé, à 5mn à pied du métro. petite chambre, mais confortable et excellente literie. très bon wifi. garage privé 15 euros, attention à arriver de bonne heure car nombre de places limitées ! une seule personne de la réception parlait anglais, c'est dommage. très bon rapport qualité/prix.

Room was clean and comfortable. A/C a little bit hot for my taste but acceptable. Parking has to levels and 2nd floor is mostly empty, the vehicle would be safe with them. Great for a couple of days!

The location of the hotel is very bad and feels completely unsafe. There are thousands of homeless people and drug users around. We will never choose this place again. We didn’t experience any issues inside the hotel itself. The breakfast was nice, but we were not satisfied due to the surrounding area.

Die Lage ist ruhig, man kann aber schnell in die Innenstadt per U-Bahn oder Straßenbahn. Zimmer sind stylisch eingerichtet. Das Bett war bequem, die Bettdecke für die Jahreszeit zu warm, aber es gab ja eine funktionierende Klimaanlage. Das Frühstück war lecker und ausreichend und auch nie überlaufen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und bemüht. Kleines Manko bei der Dusche. Diese ist zwar schön geräumig, aber die Tür stand immer offen, so dass entweder Wasser nach außen läuft oder man die Tür mit dem Fuß und Akrobatikübungen zu hält.

Our stay wasn't terrible, but it was far from great. Check-in was a bad start. The front desk staff member was unwelcoming and told us she couldn't check us in due to a system issue. We waited nearby, but she checked in another guest without informing us the system was working again. Breakfast was another issue. I had booked for two people via Expedia, but she claimed it was only for one. I had to contact Expedia to confirm what I already knew. Our room wasn’t as advertised either—no queen bed, just two twin beds pushed together with no topper, and stained carpets. The service didn’t improve during our stay. Other front desk staff were just as dismissive, offering no greetings and short responses. Housekeeping was also poor. One woman, who seemed like a supervisor, gave us strange looks daily, which made us uncomfortable. To top it off, we found bugs on the ceiling near the end of our stay, including flies and mosquitoes. On a positive note, there were a few evening staff who were friendly and helpful. They’re the reason this review isn’t a 1-star. I’ve visited Germany many times and understand cultural differences in service, but this experience stood out in a bad way. The price might be appealing, but I’d suggest looking elsewhere.

I had a pleasant stay overall — the room was comfortable and the service was good. However, one thing that would really improve the experience is having a mini fridge in the room. It was quite hot outside during my visit, and without a fridge, I had no way to keep my water or drinks cool. A small addition like this would make a big difference for guests, especially during warmer seasons.

Worst hotel staff

When I checked in, they asked for 300 euros as a deposit. However, when I checked out, they refused to refund the 300 euros, saying it was for the accommodation fee, even though I paid the entire room fee. The incompetent staff said they had no authority and passed it on to other staff. They did not respond at all when I contacted them. If there is no staff at the front desk, go outside. They are probably smoking and hanging out with their boyfriends.
