Fleming's Conference Hotel Frankfurt4.0 out of 5.0

I spent a few nights at Fleming's Conference hotel. It is a nice business hotel located close to Industriehof U-tram station. The breakfast is nice from "German" standards. The staff is courteous and helpful. Reception is manned around the clock, which is helpful in case you reach late or plan to leave early. There is a Vietnamese Bistro just across the street, which serves nice lunch/dinner.
I stayed here with about 15 other colleagues. The staff was attentive, the superior room was comfortable. It was a short walk to the train station, for us very convenient to Messe for conference to avoid auto traffic. The Italian restaurant across the street is worth a visit.
We booked two rooms in this Hotel for six days at an expensive price of Euro 215 per day but we feel harassed and frustrated after staying in this Hotel. It's a Highly mismanaged property without even basics amenities. Housekeeping services are done after 3 days and that too, if you are lucky. You don't get even a cup to drink tea in the room. Hardly 4-5 iron boards in the Hotel and you are made to beg for them. The maintenance is very very poor. We suffered a lot as regularly we got Hot Water from Cold Taps and even my palms got affected. You complain and they don't have anyone to rectify. The poor Front Office Guys then ask you change the rooms which is another big harassment. We had to change our rooms 3 times in the last two days alone. And, no one to assist you. Similarily, very less number of staff members who are hard pressed to do so many things. Some go out of the way to help you but most of the female executives just shrug off your requests/complaints. The Breakfast Menu is same everyday, rather number of items get reduced. However, the people looking after the F&B Services are really good. The General Manager of the Hotel is not available to guests. No one replies to your emails. By chance, we could meet the Manager and he just shrugged off our complaints in an arrogant way. Staying in this hotel is such a nightmare. Pl stay in this Hotel if you wish to spoil your day.
I stayed at this hotel with a group of 80+ for a conference. The hotel released our guaranteed and prepaid rooms, leaving our group without lodging even though they were paid for in advance. They did very little to resolve this issue. Select a different hotel if you are planning for a large group.
Breakfast was great Small rooms but we were out every day so no hassles. Staff good. Very central to where we were to be. left train on foot so although we walked a distance it was nice to take in the surroundings.
Hotel facilities all fine, but the hotel reeks of smoking. I asked for a non-smoking room, but my room smells and even the corridor really smells of smoke. Not good for an asthmatic. It's going to be a cold night with the window open!!
Been staying at this hotel for the past seven years. The hotel is very clean and breakfast is good. However the service is very slow and can be of sub standards. Check in and check out process can be slow as there is always one member of staff at front desk. They have started to charge for little extras such as dental kit and if you ask for extra soap or shampoo you will not get a welcomed response.
I enjoyed my stay here at this hotel. It was not far from the Metro stop so very convenient to travel to and from the city core or to the convention centre. Located in an industrial/business dominated neighborhood, throw in a few small restaurants and a corner gas station and that would consist of the activity here. Despite the manufacturing look of this little block, there was constant flow of people along the main streets and I felt at ease at all times of the day and night. The hotel is only a few floors high but still pretty spread out. The main floor housed the dining room and bar, which was well taken care of and spaciously laid out. A fitness and sauna area was located in the lower level. There are smoking rooms and non-smoking rooms available in this hotel. Each section is separated by self-closing doors, so although there was a whiff of smoke detected in the common hall space between, I did not find it off-putting nor did it permeate at all into my non-smoking room. The rooms were a tad dated but quite spacious with a sufficient size bathroom. The shower and sink area is visible to the inhabitants of the room itself and can be concealed by a curtain if need be. No issue for me, at my age I tend to abandoned all attempts at modesty (plus I was a lone traveler). Wi-Fi coverage was attainable but did experience some lag at times when catching up on videos from that latest sport team you cheer for. Some other odd & ends I tend to notice, the safety deposit box can hold a tablet or small laptop, there were enough hangers for like 6 shirts, the body gel smelled nice, the toilet paper had strength and the air conditioner was really quite to the point I actually called maintenance to check that it was working – it was and it worked fine to cool the mid-high 20 degree outside temperature during that week. And those separating doors I mentioned between the smoking/non-smoking areas, if you are entering or existing during those wee-quiet hours, gently guide the doors to a close rather than letting it close with a slam. Your fellow hotel mates would appreciate the gesture. Front staff was very friendly during the check in/out process. As well as the staff that manned the bar and breakfast period. The patio even looked enjoyable for some well thought out meal offerings or much needed coffee fix. Overall a remarkable little hotel that offers a convenient and quite location for a passing traveler.
was in your hotel during IMEX enjoyed every minute of my stay .The staff was very friendly and enjoyed very much your terrace Same time you are one of the very few hotels that you do offer smoking rooms congratulations Will make it a point to stay at your hotel next time I find my self in Frankfurt Thanks for everything
Whenever I am in Frankfurt this hotel chain is my hotel of choice. A special room design, I just liked it from the beginning on when they started to open the hotels in Frankfurt am Main! However the best of the hotel is the food and breakfast. A small but excellent selection of food items and this is the best quality.... it's a little distance to the city but people who book this hotel will know why ... and without car in this city doesn't make really sense. So small distance to the city and attractions...
