This location was very clean the rooms were in great shape and very welcoming. The staff was very friendly and greeted you with a smile. I will definitely be back for any future stays. And they are highly recommended
The hotel was beautiful the staff were all so nice and welcoming the rooms were beautiful and the full kitchen was like a sparkling cherry on top of the sundae. My children and I stayed three days and didn't want to leave the room was clean the bed was comfy the price was really inexpensive for the value you get and its a great location a block down from Walmart across from a supermarket and an IHOP I couldn't ask for more! Definitely stay at this hotel!!
There were many choices and as I have stayed at a couple of Extended Stay’s in the past I booked. Highly disappointed, 2 hairs onthe blanket 1 on fitted sheet. Bathroom floor didn’t look like it was swept, a pill under the microwave and a bug on the counter. The area was quiet and room quite large.
I was here for nine nights for business. I appreciate the full refrigerator and stove top. It's a bit more homey than just a room. Kim at the front desk looked out for the best for the guests. The breakfast was simple for on-the-go snacks. Maybe add an apple, orange, or banana. The location was good for the contacts I had throughout Fort Wayne. Thanks for a good stay at a good rate.
Not great, not poor. Stayed here with a friend while in town for business. Room was clean, although carpet was stained. Old style tube tv with limited cable options. Breakfast consisted of prepackaged muffins or granola bars, and coffee . Not for families with kids. They contract with a trucking company's drivers, so some in and out activity all the time.
This is my 2nd visit to this location in less than a year. Both times I was on the 2nd floor and the elevator was not working. The rooms are okay. The service is okay. There were kids running up and down the hallway which was annoying. It's not a great place but it's also not a horrible place.
The Extended Stay Fort Wayne North treats it's employees poorly, which might explain why over the course of just 4 months, my room was not cleaned on the assigned day on 3 different occasions, and always because of personnel issues. What kind of logic prioritizes the potential for new guests by cleaning those rooms, but leaving existing guests SOL ???
My daughters had to play in a futsal tournament over the weekend so I decided to book a room for Friday and Saturday night. I have never used Hotwire before and decided to use it for the first time because I was looking for an affordable room. I selected the 2-1/2 start hotels. It showed me a list of the comparable hotels as Holiday Inn Express, Holiday Inn, Ramada, and Comfort Suites. I was shocked when I received my confirmation that it was the Extended Stay America. To me, this hotel is in a different class. If I am on a business trip, this would be acceptable but it wasn't. The only reason I went with Hotwire is because I read that they reserve the correct number of beds. When I made the reservation I noted that I had one adult and two children (3 total people). When I arrived, I was told that I had a room with one queen and a sleeper sofa. First of all, I didn't think this type of room existed any longer. Usually if it is a single, It is a king size bed. They told me that they didn't have any doubles available. The room has a full kitchen that I have no use for. The free breakfast that I thought that I was getting is a grab and go, because there are kitchens in the rooms. The sleeper sofa had a plastic cover on the mattress that was ripped in the middle. The room had sheets and no blankets for the sofa. The pillows were flat and only had one extra for the sofa. There is no pool. There are trash cans on every floor in the stairwell. Someone dumped burnt popcorn in one that caused the stairwell to smell. I understand that I was trying to get a deal by using that site but I think that Extended Stay is partly to blame. This is a different class of hotel which should not be included in regular hotels. Extended Stay should remove their listings from Hotwire and similar sites so they don't receive more disappointed customers upon arrival. I thought I was getting a Holiday Inn Express caliper hotel so I was greatly disappointed when I arrived.
We stayed at Extended Stay America North last weekend and it was the worst service we've ever had. One of the only reasons we booked the hotel is because of the "pool" and we had kids to keep entertained before a family members wedding and when I went to the front desk to talk to the lady working, the person in the back didn't come up front at all and eventually the other lady walked our way and she said "oh yeah they filled it with cement last summer, I don't know why it's still on the site I've told them to take it down so I don't know sorry" so I went up to our room to let my kids know.. (awful) and when I got up there my key didn't work at all so I had to go all the way back down there to get it fixed and she acted like i was bothering her! another lady was working Saturday morning when I took my son down with me to get coffee and he was being a nice 4 year old and making conversation and she says very snippy " what room are you staying in" (which he didn't know) so we just went back upstairs, and then my husband had forgotten his key in our vehicle and I had already left to be somewhere and so he went to retrieve an extra one and she acted like she didn't want give him one!
Pillows was very flat and uncomfortable room was not stocked with proper necessities no pool fitness room or nothing staff was friendly though no service 2 room had 2 walk to desk and request everything from tissue to dishes to towels then haul it all back 2 room
