The rooms are very clean and nice and the front desk was very helpful. It's very close to down town and shopping. They even have a tiny grocery store in the lobby if you do not want to leave the property. We didn't get to use the pool so not really sure what it looks like.
This hotel is great. The suites are so spacious. The furniture is classy. The complimentary breakfast is great and the breakfast area is huge. Hotel staff is super friendly and very motivated. I saw one of the girls from behind the counter to come and wipe the tables in breakfast area. You dont see that up in North East. I would love to stay here every-time I am here. Olivia seems to be training as she did not know much about working on checking guests in. But she is very co-operative. All staff have big smiles on their faces. The only critique I have is the super slow computer (there is just one) the business center, and the confusing sliding doors at the entrance. You come in facing one door but that is stationary and the other one slides open and when I saw others falling for that, I laughed cause it is funny.
I enjoyed my stay at the Residence Inn. There for business. The room was very clean and spacious. Great location near stores and restaurants. And the hotel held several activities for the customers. No complaints.
We had to stay at this hotel one night for a nearby wedding. The staff are super friendly, the room was very clean, the grounds were very clean, and the parking was sufficient. The only reason I'm not giving this hotel a five rating was because of the "Continental Breakfast". There was a limited choice of items. The eggs, bacon, and sausage were warm, almost cold. There were no grits, no biscuits, and no fruit. We always stay at hotels which provide breakfast and I was somewhat disappointed in this hotel in this respect. If you're not concerned with breakfast, this is a very nice, great place to stay. It's also very quiet in the rooms. Our room overlooked the pool and basketball court, and when we arrived, it was quite noisy in these areas. Yet, when we went to our room, we could hear absolutely NO noise from outside.
We chose the Residence Inn because we wanted a room with a kitchen. The Residence Inn fit the bill. I did not notice that it was billed as "pet friendly", or I may have reconsidered. We had four of us in a studio room, which was a bit crowded. The kitchenette had only a microwave oven, which was a bit of a let-down, but we were able to use the grill by the pool in place of an oven, so we made do. The neighbors had a couple of small dogs, which yapped whenever there was noise in the hall. The rooms are reasonably soundproofed, more so than most motels we had stayed in, but the sound of the dogs was enough to wake us when they barked at night. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were all friendly and capable, from the people at the front desk to the cleaning staff and the maintenance man. The pool and pool area were clean and well maintained, as were all public areas. We did not take advantage of the free breakfast, as we cooked our own, but I did go down for coffee and tea, and the offerings seemed to be plentiful, well presented, and fresh.
I stayed here for a multi-day stay for business in the area. The property is very well maintained. My room was spotless and well maintained. The lobby / patio area / pool was in excellent condition. Although the property is excellent, the staff really makes this hotel shine and separates them from the others. I was warmly greeted when checking in, as well as every time I walked through the lobby. Grill night was a great experience. The staff constantly moved throughout the crowd asking if they could get guests anything else and clearing empty bottles, plates, etc. They genuinely seemed happy to be there and enjoyed being with guests. Housekeeping is top notch. My room was spotless when I checked in and was kept that way throughout my stay. The property was conveniently located to my business needs, as well dining establishments and probably a five to ten minute drive to the downtown district. All of this made my stay excellent, but Emily and housekeeping really made this better than most. I left a laptop cord in my room and did not realize it until about four or five days later. I had the last location narrowed down to one of two hotels and called each. I spoke with Emily about the cord and she took my number and said she would look to see if it was there. She called me back shortly and told me housekeeping had turned in the cord and she would send it to me. I received it today. Kudos to housekeeping for turning in the cord and to Emily for returning it to me. All should be commended. This is a great hotel with a great staff, especially Emily and housekeeping. I highly recommend this hotel and will stay there again when I am in the area.
Decent enough property, not run well. First visit was April of 2016. Kitchen wasn't clean, including whole grapes left on the carpet. Came back in May of 2017 and despite having booked through the hotel and being rewards members, were turned away because they had overbooked. The accommodations they booked for us as a substitute were not even close to the same - not enough room, beds, or bathrooms. Will never voluntarily stay on a Marriott property again.
We stayed here on a recent trip to see family. The room was really nice and the bed was extremely comfortable. The hot breakfast that was included in the mornings was a plus. We will plan on staying here again when in the area.
Stayed over night for a wedding. Needed a handicap room for my mom, with a room next door for my husband and I. The rooms were spacious, and fully equipped. Perfect for what I needed! The staff was very helpful and the breakfast was delicious, with many options!
a real value..tips, book through marriott.com as member, you usually save 10-15 dollars, also if two sets of adults, I cannot recommend the 2bd suites more.. each have generous bedroom and bathroom, big living area and FULL kitchen. You got good complimentary breakfast for all registered guests, and is 25-30 dollars or more cheaper than two rooms. also happens to be clean as can be and other neat amenities...
